Just wanted to comment and say thanks for keeping these videos up... I found out that I have developed a persistent rolling crossing noise with this very thing in my playing. Great to revisit this to get it under control!!
That digital breakdown help to visually understand things
Wow now that’s teaching, to be able to see this as played is worth a thousand words.
Thanks Matt.
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you for doing these videos. You're a fantastic teacher! I can do these exercises on the practice chanter but am having a lot more trouble doing them on the pipes. But, on a positive note, they are slowly improving. Thanks for your help.
Thanks for the comment! Glad so many folks are getting something from these videos.
Enjoyed the digital breakdown, that was a nice touch. Wish I'd had this before last night's band practice lol
But you'll have it for next week's practice!
THIS is what I need!! I've been trying to clean up this trouble spot for several days now, now on to the video!!
Hope the video helps!
This was helpful seeing it broken down like that.
Thank you !!!
Exactly how I needed it broken down. I couldn't get rid of the crossing noises on the B to C grip. I also had the hesitation problem. Treating the B as a loose gracenote really helped tighten things up. Now I'm playing them cleanly and without the hesitation!
Glad it helped! And again, thank you for the support!
Thanks!
Thank you so much!
