- Let’s discuss whether I believe Max and Roxanne are actually together: the adorkable little couple from A Goofy Movie that so many people including myself wanted to see go the distance! Well in the DuckTales (2017) reboot, we get a little bit of reassurance that maybe they have worked out. After an appearance from Goofy himself, I think he has helped hint that the future of Max and Roxanne’s future looks bright!

Just imagine a goof troop reboot, Max and Roxanne married with a kid, just idea of Goofy being a grandpa is not only funny but also charming.
Maybe they should go the Simpsons route and set it in the distant/supposed future.

Yes Goofy would be a good grandpa without a doubt. But ether the kid would be born at the end or we get a grandfather telling the kid or kids about wedding through his eyes, and ending with “It was the Second best day of my life.” Than one of them asking, “If that was the second then what was the first?” And Goofy replies “Even though you were born after, seeing your cute little faces for the first time went from second to first, You just reminded me of your father when he was born.” Indicating that he no longer sees Max as his little Maxie anymore then smiles while a tear comes down.
If they do get married and have kids, they could have a part where the kids get in trouble, have a fight with their dad, and Max would go to Goofy for some family wisdom. Like how he gave Donald some wisdom in the reboot of Ducktales. Just a thought.
This is something I've been wanting, where the reboot would have two separate storylines where it focuses on the kids and adults, where Max, Roxanne, PJ, Bobby, Stacy, and the Barrett girl are all apart of, where Bobby and Stacy could be divorced while Roxanne and Stacy work together, Max and PJ still hang, and their kids all go to the schools together.
Fun Fact: Roxanne was supposed to be Max's date that he brings home in Mickeys Twice Upon A Christmas but they decided the last minute to change that because they found that animating Roxannes hair was too difficult and changed the character to Mona. This is why she had the same voice actress from Goofy Movie.
They could’ve easily gave Mona red hair and said Roxanne cut her hair in college

I think it's so cute that in the Ducktales 2017 cameo Max is doing the awkward hovering hand dance photo thing. He definitely strikes me as the type to be super nervous even though Roxanne has as big a crush on him.

Maybe Max and Roxanne decided to take a break when they went to collage. (That happens a lot, right?) That would explain An Extremely Goofy Movie and could even explain the Twice upon a Christmas reference. Then maybe they meet up again in later in the House of Mouse episode and got back together. But regardless that picture looks like a prom type picture and Goofy would probably keep it in his wallet regardless. Plus if he ever considered Roxanne family, he doesn't seem like the type that would suddenly stop just because she and Max broke up.

Yeah, Goofy seems the type that would still keep her picture in his wallet even after a break up, unless it was very messy and traumatic. Like, the picture is there to reminisce about the good time. Even if they aren’t together anymore, those good times still happened.

I believe her cameo in Ducktales is Disney or at least the show crew’s way of saying they still remember her and her relationship with Max and how much fans loved them together. So I take that as them being together in this universe just as how the Rescue Rangers are laboratory rodents with spliced genes and Darkwing Duck and Negaduck are both actors making their characters real heroes/villains.
We need a 3rd THEATRICAL Goofy Movie w/ Max & Roxanne as parents they had times on & off and then realized they were meant to be and they have one last road trip adventure w/ Goofy as they head to a family reunion as they show their kids the wild antics of what it is to be a Goof!

Just why, *why* for the Extremely Goofy Movie didn't they bring Roxanne in?? The whole point of the Goofy Movie franchise is to show that Max really did grow up and finally has a significant other

Actually, Frank Angones confirmed that the events of Goof Troop and A Goofy Movie are canon to DuckTales.
It was so awesome that Max and Roxanne made a cameo in the DuckTales reboot, but it was also sad that Roxanne didn't appear in an Extremely Goofy Movie, and many fans theorize why she didn't is because they believe that at some point Max and Roxanne broke up...or so i've heard.
My child self liked to think that they were just in a long distance relationship or something.
It's at least better than what fans say happened to Pistol and Peg in the Goofy Movies, saying Peg divorced Pete and took custody of Pistol. There's no reason to think that was the case, Pistol and Peg just didn't need to be in any scenes that took place in the movie since Pete and PJ were on a father-son road trip.
@@Nightman221k Yeah, it always bothered me that Peg and Pistol never appeared in A Goofy Movie, but the whole story is about a father and son relationship. There was simply no room for them in the script.

@@Jessicanimation Very true, but they could've at least put them in the background technically. Sort of like how GI Joe the movie did, where not all the characters had speaking or prominent roles. Like if you look into the background in one scene, you can clearly see Storm Shadow while Cobra Commander gets chewed out by Serpentor, but Storm Shadow doesn't say a word throughout the entire film, but you at least know he's there. I guess technically they could've just had them both in the background or something and not give them any lines or anything. Just a quick nod so everyone would know they're still there. But then again, maybe they also couldn't figure out how an older tween to possibly teen version of Pistol should look like since the movie does take place when all the characters are a bit older from when they were in goof troop, so there is that.

Didn't the writers say that the other girl in twice upon a Christmas, was basically Roxanne or was supposed to be but they couldn't give her the long hair because of tech limitations so they ended up designing another girl? I dunno since this timeline is different either way they could certainly be a couple in this reality.

I believe Max and Roxanne are together. Yes, it was disheartening to see that Roxanne wasn’t in either An Extremely Goofy Movie or Mickey’s Twice Upon A Christmas, but honestly it makes sense if she and Max decided to take a break. I could totally see Max and Roxanne being a little worried about having a long distance relationship with each other with them being at two separate collages (this assuming that the reason Roxanne wasn’t in the second film was because she got accepted somewhere else that Max didn’t, and I can’t imagine Max would be someone who would want to hold her back from her dream college and get mad that she doesn’t attend the same one as him), therefore, they most likely mutually agreed to break up for the time being but also accepted that they are allowed to be with someone else if they do want to date someone who actually goes to the same college as them. Hence, Max flirting with other girls during the second film and him bringing home Mona in the Christmas one. But like, they both still very much has deep feelings for each other, it’s always been obvious that Roxanne wasn’t just a crush of Max’s but his first love too, so of course even if he has been with other girls, Roxanne would forever be someone he would have deep feelings for. And while The House of Mouse is supposedly meant to be before Twice Upon A Christmas (at least from what I’ve heard), the episode where he has a date with Roxanne at The House of Mouse and Max being so worried about embarrassing himself around her again makes sense, because that is the first moment he’s gotten to reconnect with her since they left for collage. And clearly, Roxanne still has deep feelings for Max too which is why they not only still have that date, but are shown to be a couple again. Maybe they had decided to try again and work on that long distance relationship if House of Mouse happens before Twice Upon A Christmas, and in that case they clearly do end up breaking up again before Max meets Mona. But since Mona was meant to be Roxanne originally, I like to consider Twice Upon A Christmas as an event that happens BEFORE The House of Mouse, so that way Max probably realizes at some point that he just liked Mona as a friend and again, still has that deep feelings for Roxanne and when he gets a call from her about how she wants to stop by The House of Mouse to see him, that’s where that whole episode takes place and they get back together again and STAY together. Shehges, this got long, but overall I do believe that Max and Roxanne are together and I love that Ducktales had shown them in a picture because they truly are perfect for one another!

@@KevinJhonson honestly imma believe they are together still even with the Christmas movie because they said Mona technically was Roxane but couldn’t animate Roxane’s hair properly, so they just changed it altogether, don’t know why threw her away instead of just making her hair shorter

That's So Raven, Suit Life of Zack and Cody, Hanna Montana, Cory in the House, Wizards of Waverly Place, Jessie all had crossover episodes with each other. And perhaps there are more I don't know about. It would be interesting for you to discuss it.

I feel like the dates they had at the House of Mouse took place while they were still finishing up school, after A Goofy Movie. And they probably parted ways right before An Extremely Goofy Movie because they were going to different colleges. And the Christmas special happened post-college.
And Goofy would still keep the picture because that's still a picture of his son going to Prom.
I would personally love to see them together as well as know what exactly happened to Max’s mom or at least what she looks like

Wow, I remember reading those Disney Adventures books years ago. Also MaxXRoxanne is my favorite couple of all time.
When I was younger a goofy movie for me I loved it for its story. I was thinking how max is going to go to the concert... But over time I realize that the couple Max and Roxanne reflects a love so pure and sincere that it moved me because it is more and more rare these days today.
There was also Mickey’s House of Mouse with Roxanne and Max’s Date.

Personally I like the separation thing I feel like it really establishes growth in people and makes a realistic situation and in the end if it works out and they end up together i would be so happy for that to happen, but only time will tell what will happen

I hope you do a video about Prince Eric's full story. Because I want to know what happened to Eric's parents, if his parents died when Eric was a child, how he met and adopted his loyal dog Max and how many princesses from different kingdoms beyond the "princess of Glowerhaven", Prince Eric met and has turned down on them before meet and falling in love for Princess Ariel, and if Eric had to be married to become monarch of his kingdom!

It would be an unbelievably goofy movie, and I would be SO incredibly happy.
I love that, at least in the Ducktales (2017) universe, Max and Roxanne seem to be together. I hope the same is true in the Disney Afternoon/Goof Troop universe. More than that, I want to see them married with children in a future series or movie. They deserve it.
I remember watching so many Disney films and wanting to be in the seats of so many of the female characters Roxanne was probably one of my favorites cuz I always wanted a guy who could sing and perform plus that lip bite I could pull off to.
I still think there both in a relationship together I would love to see if disney would make another goofy movie or a goofy TV show.

And this is why I want a Goof Troop reboot series that focuses on Max after college, where it shows him with his family, PJ's family, and Goofy's life with Sylvia. It could have us seeing Max with his wife (hopefully Roxanne) and their kids, and have the series have two plots going on, where one focuses on the adult's and the other focuses on the kids.

i watched both goofy movies a few months ago, and they were amazing. i was rly disappointed to see that roxanne wasn't in the 2nd one, but i still have faith in this couple. they were rly cute together.
I think that the picture that Goof had was of their prom. I’d say that the Duck Tales reboot is about 5-10 years in the future, given that the duck bros all seem to have more mature voices, elaborate plans, and independent characteristics. It’s easy to say an example of that last one in the episode where they finally meet their mom. I’d say that the events of Mickey’s Twice Upon a Christmas was about a year or two after the first, meaning that the other girl Max was seeing could have been a rebound girl of sorts. You know, the “We should see other people, first” type of deal? They could’ve just been on a break and Max could’ve chose Mona as his rebound to explore himself, then when Roxanne and him realized how much they cared for each other over anyone else, they got back together for good. Kinda like Ross and Rachel from FRIENDS, but less chaotic. Or another explanation, like Roxanne had a name and hair change, or they’re sharing him or in a poly relationship, or something else. Who knows?

2:39 this has got to be the first time I can really see the “cat” in PJ. I always thought Pete was a dog, and found it odd whenever I did finally find out that Pete was indeed a cat. This may explain why in Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, the gang refers to him always as “Pete the Cat”. Which Pete will then say “Mickey the Mouse” as a humorous way of stating the awkwardness in using such names.

Can you do a video about a Beauty and the Beast theory if Gaston's reputation was severely damaged to majority of the villagers after the events of Beauty and the Beast? Because in the opening scene of Beauty and the Beast: The Enchanted Christmas, everyone of the village came to the castle to celebrate Christmas with Belle and Prince Adam, but I think that only LeFou and Gaston's "buddies" do not attend the Christmas party in film due they are the only ones in the village who remained faithful to Gaston and his "legacy".

I want a video telling Aladdin's full story, because I want know more about his past of struggle to survive in the streets of Agrabah, and because will be fun and cool to tell Aladdin's transition from a street rat to a Prince and become heir to the throne of Agrabah alongside his beloved Princess Jasmine. Also, I want you theorizing where Aladdin and Genie were during the events of Disney Enchanted Tales: Follow Your Dreams, if they were in a diplomatic mission for the Sultan, or most likely they were visiting Aladdin's father Cassim in a hidden place in a kingdom far away from Agrabah, since Iago returns to Agrabah while Aladdin and Genie were absent.
@Gabriela Abreu de Araujo The "Not a Peacock Princess" segment probably occurred sometime between the end of Aladdin: The Series and Aladdin and the King of Thieves. While it's possible Iago returned for a visit or for good, it seems more likely for this to have occurred before The King of Thieves chronologically. Plus, the characterizations of Jasmine, Iago, and the Sultan seem most in line with that period.

What is written could be true, but there's nothing backing it up which makes it questionable. Plus, based on the evidence on the screen, from Aladdin: The Series, Aladdin and the King of Thieves, "Hercules and the Arabian Night", I still think it takes place before The King of Thieves.
In the universe of Ducktales 2017 yes. The photos also suggest that this is an alternate reality to the movie timeline. Max looks like he did in Goof Troop, not A Goofy Movie. Thus in this timeline they met and got together at a younger age

I actually dreamed of a Goofy movie 3 based around Roxanne and Max kinda like "Love & Basketball" and "Eurotrip" where they built such a caring and loving relationship together throughout their high school years, they decided to take a break and focus on their studies and career, but then Max realizes his life has no meaning without her right when he graduates and he enlists the help of his longtime friends PJ, Bobby, Roxanne's best friend Stacey, and his father Goofy as they travel the world chasing after Roxanne in her trip around the world.

Roxanne was supposed to appear in Mickey’s Twice Upon a Christmas, but she got scrapped at the last minute and was replaced by a new character. The reason why is because they didn’t have the budget to animate her wavy, long hair with the cheap CG they had at the time. Why not just give her a haircut or make the movie 2D?
Back in the day, I always just assumed that like most high school relationships, there's didn't last. I just figured in Extremely Goofy Movie that they had dated a few months or a couple of years then lost the spark and both became different people and remained friends but moved on. I didn't give her character too much thought back then because I was always asking "Where's Peggy and Pistol?" and my friends and I would have discussions about our theories as to why they weren't in the movies. I think we concluded they were just out of frame in the movies running around the house/neighborhood somewhere.
I like your point that Goofy would only regularly keep pictures of peoe he considered close enough to be 'family' in his wallet.
I dont think he would keep those pictures if Max and Roxanne didn't end up together cuz it's be a dad reminder for max. But they're there so-
