It's so epic to see this update progress in 2023.

You installed Windows 3.1, then did clean install, then upgraded from Windows 95 to me, then clean install

Yes I did clean install Windows 95 but it was only because I didn’t have the floppy version of the Windows 95 upgrade cd. And the Windows 95 upgrade cd I had didn’t work because neither MS Dos or Windows 3.1 natively support cd’s
But for Windows XP there is no upgrade cd that I could find, only the regular disk and if you look at 08:53 you would see that Windows ME throws an error saying “This version of Windows cannot be installed on this architecture.

@@Puppet60e 1. For MS-DOS you could install a CD driver
      2. Regular Windows XP CD *IS* an upgrade CD
      3. It's impossible to upgrade from 32-bit to 64-bit so you should use normal Windows XP CD, not x64

@ivancomp_inside I used an x64 cd because I wanted to use that Windows XP copy for a future video and I needed x64.
I am pretty sure Virtual Box comes with that driver but I don’t think I ever got it to work. Every time I inserted the Windows 95 upgrade cd it would just say it is not a bootable disk and put me in MS Dos.

7:29 Was a little dissapointed when saw VirtualBox screen. Thought that you're doing it on a real machine )

I am surprised you didn't notice it sooner. Although I am afraid that doing this upgrade would be nearly impossible on a real computer.

There isn’t any ai images inside the video, if you are talking about the little recommended video in the top right that was a regular image I made by taking 2 screenshots and putting them together. If you are talking about this videos thumbnail yes it was ai generated.
