- My entire career has lead up to this video. It's happened and it's beautiful. Has Morrowind modding truly peaked? (Well, no because there's tonnes of new mods being released every month and they're all great so download them all! lol my title was a bait haha got you kisses xxx)

There is a note next to Peke Utchoo explaining how he died. Basically he got injured and fled to the tower to rest, and in his excitement of finding the place he accidentally drank a poison in his possession instead of a healing potion.
I've been playing divinity original sin 2, there's a status called decay/disease, it makes potions damage you, all of my characters die drinking healing potions.
Bruh moment.
Yeah this is a reference to the Pokemon anime on how Ash accidentally sprayed sulfuric acid on Pikachu instead of Super Potion

Um actually, this is lore friendly. The Peke Uchoo race worships Fargoth as the 10th divine. You would have known this if you had finished Blades
In Pokemon, Pikachu's trainer is named "Ash".
Morrowind is all about ash and the ash blight.
Coincedence? I think not.
There's also three more Pokemon references in Morrowind: Weepingbell Hall in Arkngthand, Marowak's Spine in Ilunibi Caverns, and Kakuna Burial in the Urshilaku Burial Chambers.
And all are places you go along the main quest.

You didn't mention it in the video, but I love how the Pikachu mod makes all the trees in Morrowind look like the ones from the wild area from Pokemon: Sword and Shield.
a mod review, the bonus bean room, forgetting the name of the Hlaalu guard, a classic dungeon exploration like when he did the daedric quests and ending it all with a agorophobia joke. kinda feels like I just saw every single Morrowind video on the channel at once...plus a bonus bean room on top!
By the way, armour doesn’t affect spellcasting in Morrowind. There’s no spell effectiveness like Oblivion.

to fully explore morrowind is a massive undertaking. I have played it for years off and on, with a long time right after it first came out, and im sure there are things I have not seen. The amount of work that went into this game is astounding.
Watching your videos helped me get through some tough times when my cat was having some serious medical issues. I'd pop on an absurd MickyD video and it would help my anxiety substantially. Thanks MickyD!

Endurance governs underwater breath in Oblivion. Not sure if its the same in Morrowind.
I remember it took me a long time to find the Peke Utchoo reference, i liked collecting the unique items so when i realised the Dragonmail was here i was amazed... morrowind always has such good secrets.
If you swim past the edge of the map, it doesn't block you with an invisible wall; it let's you swim seemingly forever, and the location just says "wilderness." You can get very, VERY far from Vardenfell.
(It might be different on PC, I'm not sure. I played Morrowind on the original Xbox because I am a bad person.)
It's the same on PC. IIRC, the game gets increasingly unstable and could just freeze once you get far out enough that the player map marker just disappears, though it works differently in OpenMW.
I had 5 seconds per frame after around 20 minutes of levitating out of the map 🤔

uhm, is it? a guy falls out of the sky screeching because he goofed up a spell he made in the first 5 minutes of going outside, I think Morrowind just seems serious compared to Oblivion.
Morrowind only seems serious because it actually has a good plot and well-crafted storytelling, as opposed to Oblivion's "GO HERE LISTEN TO THIS GO HERE LISTEN TO THIS"

Play Oblivion. Really play it. Pay attention. Stay focused. That’s the game that causes many to fall in love with TES games. Skyrim is great but Oblivion is the key to enlightenment for people that are newer to TES. Lol
@@TsunauticusIV oblivion is, okay... morrowind the best ES game there is. The problem with oblivion is the level up system is too damn broken and massively unbalanced, and the leveled item bullshit ruins it. I don't want to be efing level 20 and up just to get a specific piece of armor or a weapon... in morrowind all the items stay the same regardless of level. Thats how it should have been in oblivion, and skyrim.

Nothing changes the time you can stay underwater in Morrowind (apart from Spells and all that), it stays the same throughout the game

I just knew there is artifact Dragonbone Cuirass in some cave down the coast. Micky the Legend didn't knew that, but knew about pikachu reference in the same localization. I love your videos.
I like how after Morrowind they couldn't go with "I'm sure you'll fit right in" anymore, simply because of the potential monstrosities that can come from later character creators.

i did look at the wiki because i was also wondering what affect the breathing meter and it seems nothing affect it and it always take the same amount of time to be depleted, also nerevarine is a true chad being able to eat ebony ore, raw glass and scrap metal like that without dying
I think in oblivion it's tied to endurance/fatigue
I was sure it said in the athletics description that it increased breath time. For Morrowind and Oblivion.

I think the console commands thing in the lore is supposed to be another thing related to CHIM, or CHIM since you're actively warping (their) reality technically. I think Vivec actually mentions something about it (indirectly) in Morrowind when you you talk to him too, but yeah I always thought that was funny they decided to make it canon to cheat as a joke.

To get past the guard at the intro before the barrels you have to walk at an angle. I found this out like... three months ago myself, thought it was common knowledge, but yea gotta walk at a diagonal to speed faster.

If only you could collect beans by running through them, it would be perfect. Dragonbone cuirass is a powerful item, but also puzzling from a lore perspective - how did it end up in an underwater dungeon? Did they make dragon armor also in the merethic era?
