    At Vibra Rehabilitation Hospital of Amarillo, we are dedicated to helping people overcome limitations caused by injury or illness. The aftermath of a stroke, spinal injury, or other debilitating condition is often the most stressful. One thing to keep in mind during this time is, it gets better from here. We have a team of knowledgeable physical, occupational, and speech therapists who work together to coordinate patient care and determine exactly what can be accomplished through treatment. Our team is ambitious, and we are often able to help patients achieve a level of recovery beyond what they believed possible.

    Right side stroke survivor here, I haven't experienced emotional lability but definitely have left-sided tingling & weakness & short-term memory issues. On a positive note, for some reason everything looks really beautiful & I notice visual details I didn't before. Great video, thank you! 🙏❤

    Thanks for the explanation. I suffered right hemisphere stroke and my left side of the body is affected. Sometimes I wake up and feel heaviness at th left side of my head I don't understand but good thing against all odds I started making walking progresses after 2 months.
    Just that my appetite sometimes is super poor
    Thanks for your explanation

      @vrhamarillo  Před rokem

      @@samanthasims7123 No, respite care is short-term relief for caregivers. You can learn more about respite care here: www.nia.nih.gov/health/what-respite-care

      Well? Yes, very much so, number one I was 23 when it happened? I’m 31 now, extensive therapy and doctor visits and exercise and testing my brain with Music or Games or Puzzles or anything! It’s good for you, and UPMC saved my life along with Dr. Okonkwo and a team of very respected experienced doctors
