Yep, very important lesson for everyone. In fact there are two things, that make this stand out for me.
      1. Just don't ride it if you don't feel it.
      2. Never ever push anyone to do it. Show how it's done, explain, give every piece of advice you can give but never say "come on, just ride it".
For me both of them doing the right thing is more impressive than if they would have just sent it.

@@marklopez5267 not as a dad, not on a feature of such size. Last christmas (haha) I rode a rather small, but badly built wooden drop even though I was tired already and on my new bike that I wasn't used to yet. Thought it would be fine since it's not a big feature. A broken Fullface helmet and a trip to the hospital for x-ray check told me I was wrong. Though apparently nothing was broken I sometimes feel sore in my neck. Conclusion: If you don't feel it, don't do it. Be smart and ride again the next day.

being humble is the highest quality to continue in this kind of sport, like in the mountains (freeride, mountaineering, etc.) the hardest part is to give up when you don't feel it! Respect to these 2 great champions for repeat this lesson.

No big egos, no willy waving, no clips from hours apart strung together to look like one run. They're excellent in terms of how to help people progress, and I suspect that seeing pros comfortable saying they're not feeling it will also save people from a quite a lot of unwanted injuries.

This is absolutely the best riding video I've watched on YT! Whether deliberate or not it is the best Riding Psychology analysis i have ever witnessed. Everyone who rides gnarly features has experienced these back and forth conversations at some point trying to build up the confidence to send it. This is genuinely a video that every rider at every level of ability can relate to. To see pro riders experiencing this level of doubt just makes us all feel a little more human and adds to the comedy value. Some days we send it, some days we abort, but the comedy value of convincing ourselves that we are going to send it even though deep down everyone knows we're not is priceless!!

Great videos! Love how humble you guys are about this stuff. It is very helpful to see how important planning and training to push your limits and riding is for very talented riders. I am just getting back into MTB and I am hungry to progress but don't have the fearlessness I had in my 20's. These kind of videos tell a really important side of the story on progression, timing, knowing yourself and planning to land rather than risking the crash.

It’s awesome to see the process you guys go through preparing to ride the features you do.
Also it’s good to see that if your not feeling it then you won’t risk it,mental game is a huge part of riding and gets harder as you get older! I should know
Keep up the great work guys

So good you guys! The build up is intense, the desire to do it is intense.... this kind of decision is something that is very difficult to teach, but you captured it so well.... Now the trick is how to teach that maturity in decision making to 10 year olds! Great video Remy & Yohan. Much respect!

Awesome video guys, really great to show everyone the prep and thought that goes into tackling new features. I haven't seen a video before that does it so well honestly.

C'est long, mais présenter l'intégralité du process est super intéressant. Beaucoup d'humilité les gars 👏. Merci de nous rappeler que les fails sont nécessaires à la progression 🤘

I've had those end of the day just send it moments go good and bad. These days I'm more proud of myself when I check that desire and come back later. Great vid!

great video, so helpful to see what the very best riders go through when approaching a big feature. and as other people have commented, part of what makes someone like yoann so good is his ability to know when to send and when to not send. as a great man once said, 'you got to know when to hold em, and know when to fold em'.

Mad respect and kudos to the both of you for sharing vids like this. I always appreciate your willingness to talk through how you think about approaching these things and also the awareness to come back the next day when you're feeling it.

Great job guys as always! Thank you for showing your approach and letting everyone being part of your decision making especially showing as well if you not feeling it! because many times you only see the "finished product" and there is always a lot more to it than that. Love watching you guys shredding it together! So much respect and admiration for your skills and professionalism.

Hi Remi and Yo: Honestly I was concerned about watching and supporting videos that put you guys in danger so it’s nice to see you lean towards the safety side of things. Please keep in mind you have kids looking up to you and they want to try to do what you do. So showing people how you address risky situations and walking away for another day when you’re more prepared is wise. Thanks and ride on!!

Love watching the process of evaluating the line. Super important work you guys are doing.
Newer riders especially need to understand the skills you guys have are earned and don't guarantee success without preparation. Gotta use your head.
