- It’s not every day that we end up finding the time to go ride some fun laps with Remy. That day was just about that, he joined Nate and I for a sick little shred and it ended up being an absolute banger of a ride!!
As you are watching this, Nate and I are now in Mexico for a camp in Oaxaca, what kind of videos do you want to see from it, some fast laps, Coaching style videos, bike checks (Nate is riding a Devinci chainsaw now and I’m on a Spartan)..? Let us know in the comments :)
Thank you for watching and check out some industry discount below !!

Is so beautiful to watch Yoann ride. The speed is crazy and how he keeps everything smooth is even crazier!
3:15 there’s two types of friends😂: Remy and Yoann
Great to see Remy and you in a vid again!
No wonder Raymond goes so quick... His f**kin brakes don't work! 😂
He saved a couple of grams with less brake fluid 😏
😂😂😂 But for real, Dominions A4 best brakes ever!
His name is remy but its an easy mistake if your not french (i'm not french)
I used to be a lever-pull-close-to-the-grip-guy with my levers angled in line with my forearms, then I tried angling my levers near horizontal which made me feel stronger on the bike, and I found that being a lever-pull-far-out-from-the-grip-guy worked better in that position
00:58 hahaahha i almost died, and the look on the Remys face hahah.
nice to see you guys together again
living the dream!
Man, the speed.. you guys are next level. 👊🏻👊🏻
So awesome Yoann🤘🤘🤘🤘🤙🤙
Remy and Yoanne!? Immediate click!
M O R E Baguette for the people :)
Sick riding as always, and two frontflips! Hey, @remymetailler if you are going to race e-bike ews you'll be in Bielsko-Biala (first timer location) in Poland and I just can't wait to catch an autograph! The food in Poland, especially in southern-mountaineous region is TOP, the craft beer scene is even better, so I hope you'll be pleased :D
I definitely would have cased that jump. I'd love a training sess with you guys!
Proper gnar 🙈
First guy hear! Much love from Texas Yoann
also wondering who cased the glory hole drop (R u ok?)🤔
Yoann, customary to ask if they are ok first, then laugh!
Sorry Remdog but Yoann's brake setup is the one for me!
somewhere in between is the sweet spot for me! need a bit of modulation haha
I’m with Remy, brakes just slow you down.
@@danwebber9494 yip that's my problem, use them constantly 🤥
I used to use Yoanns but on sustained steep descents it gives you way more hand fatigue than running your levers super close. The tradeoff is that if you don't have properly bled brakes with your brakes super close like that you risk pulling to the bars and having no stopping power. Yoanns level brakes idea though makes a huge difference in the amount of arm pump you feel if you like doing steep stuff.
Esp the front brake the further out it is the higher is the chance you'll over brake in a moment and block the front wheel which is never a good thing but can at times be a catastrophic thing.
Yoann type of brakes.
What happened to the stabilisation ?
I was wondering the same thing… seems like Yoann forgot to turn on the stabilizer… still enjoying to watch the interaction with Raymond and Nate! Gg
usual gopro in a low light environment
Remy is already back from Fiji :D
YEEEEhawwwww!
"Double at normal trail speed." - Rémy Well, that's not exactly my trail speed.
I read a few comments about the lever setup and I wonder how do you not over brake, esp on the front wheel (that's what it showed on Remy's bike) when the lever is not very close to the grip? Esp w/ very soft Dominions A4 you almost instantly reach full braking power, so if the lever is too far out you definitely have moments when you block your front wheel which can be really bad. It can happen even by a mistake off a drop where you meet mounds of compression and you may trigger the brake not even by wanting to do it so powerfully or not at all.
I'm tweaking my brake lever as Raymond so you are in the wrong @Yoann :D
I also like to have my levers close, I used to not bleed brakes ever. Hey habits catch on...
Can I have a paris brest now pls?
No way!
Sorry Yoann I tried watching but without image stabilisation it was unbearable to watch.
0:16 Rémy should race the 2024 DHI WC I'm sure he has the skills to compete against the big guys
he did MSA years ago (2015-16ish maybe?) and I believe did not qualify for finals. He's said before he struggles with arm pump riding that intensity/duration.. clearly he has the bike skill no question but seems happy with the niche he has found in the industry and creates amazing content. Outside the very top end, World Cup racers are not making a sustainable living and are risking their body/life/brain every run with how flat out it is now, I'd rather have Remy's career!
rémy is sooooo fast 🤯
Des grands malades 🤪
^^ baker man is baking bread
I'm in the Yoann brakes camp, but ride A4's!😁
Same brakes but because they are so soft how do you not over brake, esp the front wheel which is a terrible thing at times? It did happen to me, so I pulled the lever almost as close as Remy has it set up.
@@shadowsun33 just took me practice. But I really enjoy steep stuff, so having brakes engage with less effort allows me a lot of progression with less arm pump. At least that is what I've found.
@@vashusan1984 Less effort? That's I guess defined on a personal basis because I see less effort and risk of locking front wheel by having the lever very close to the grip meaning that only if I really need to lock it I'd have to be pressing it almost all the way into to the grip. Otherwise just a slight touch and I get to slow down.
Didn't think @NateHills was in BC this time of year, but young NATE rules! "Remy needs an eBike" to hang. Lol.
I think it is Nate Spitz
Remy’s brakes would terrify me
Your footage is really shaky
Remy's brake setup is ATROCIOUS. I would never run it like that.
Dude you are ridiculous - how can you go on a trail like that with speed like that and start talking about remy's family heritage like you are having a chilled coffee in the afternoon?
