I love Charlie and his secret plans. They rarely work out but he's surprisingly devious! And Mac's scooch away from Carmen gets me every time ahaha
Yeah, haha. Charlie is purely motivated by the Waitress. At times he is the most... decent person from the gang, just very very eccentric. But, when it comes to trying to get to the waitress, or someone interfering with her, he has no limits or moral compass.
Also, between one skill set (I won't spoil it) and manipulation for the sake of trying to get the waitress, he is brilliant sometimes
Hahaha mannn heâs sneaky! I didnât see that coming. I thought at the end of the ep he was going to say âoh yeah doctor said I donât actually have it.â But nope, he was just playing Dennis the whole time đđ
@@luketrottier9388 Iâm keen to see his reaction if and when he finds out about Dennis and the waitress!
One of the funniest lines in the episode (in hindsight) is Dee saying "I love Charlie"
In real life Charlie and the waitress are married which makes their relationship, or lack thereof, in the show even more hilarious.
I agree, it makes it even funnier knowing that theyâre together in real life đđ
@@EveReacts Mac and Dee are married in real life as well
@@cristhianzerimar But they weren't at the time.
@@wfly81 You're right. I believe they didn't start dating till like the third season.
Same with Mac and Dee. The way he's repulsed at the idea of being with her đ
Your smile is enchanting. đ
That is very kind of you to say! Thanks for watching âșïžâșïž
i did the accidental Mac punch in a haunted house in 8th grade. dude jumped out at me--0% of me wanted to punch the guy--but it just happened before a thought went through my mind. As he's on the ground yelling "My nose," I'm telling my friends, let's get the hell out of here. So sorry guy, if you're watching this reaction too.
Haha I guess you know what Mac meant by it was instinctive đđ
"Carmen, you got the most amazing body. Are you bulimic or what?"
đđđ
7:16 I love the morality of those random people đ
It's pretty much on par with Philly tbh. We're a bunch of loveable mooks here
Haha I love it!
I forgot how funny this episode is out of the first season. Tons of funny situations here
Such a twisted episode this one đ
Hahaha twisted but amazing đ
"I like the way you talk." Karl Childers, Sling Blade
I like how regular these reactions are :) wait for season two!
Keep it going :) more Sunny please :)
Dee get me a beer
These uploads are making my mornings, thank you!
Thank you Ryan, thatâs lovely of you to say! đ„°
it gets 100x better in the future seasons
This episode is very close to the original seed for the show. It was a short sketch about a neighbour visiting another neighbour for a cup of sugar (?), and the lending neighbour announcing he just learned he has cancer and venting about/wanting to discuss it. Meanwhile, the borrowing neighbour, who is somewhat sociopathic (like the Gang) but also somewhat understandable (like the Gang) just wants to leave. Almost exactly the scene with Dennis trying to get the basketball from Charlie.
The show was originally going to be called "It's Always Sunny on TV" and focus on struggling young actors in Hollywood. FX decided there were too many such shows already, so Rob changed the setting to his hometown, Philly, hence the name. The Gang owns a bar because it was thought the best way to explain how these people have so much free time while also not being entirely broke.
Oh, my god. I just love Artemis. â€ïž
Sheâs too much, and just enough. lol
i agree, she is almost as funny as Dee. and Dee is my all time favourite when it comes to women in comedy.
Hahaha I loved my introduction to Artemis âIâm just a small town girl, who moved to the city with big dreams.â Iâve been saying that all week đ
@@EveReacts âYou wanna see me shake it? Of course you do, everyone does.â LMFAO
@@mourningwoodward hahahaha so funny!! đđđ
I really like that the actor's real name is Artemis, too. Artemis Pebdani. I don't know why, but it tickles me. Maybe I'm just picturing her living her life as "Sunny" Artemis, and I like the idea of someone like that out in the real world. Not in my life, necessarily, but out there somewhere, doing her thing.
Loving these! Thanks so much. I am going to watch and thumbs up every one in the series :)
Thank you friend âșïž
And you have your introduction to Artemis!
Artemis is amazing hahaha đ€Ł
Another fun reaction
Keep it up! Glad to see another.
Thank you! Appreciate it đ
lets go!
Always Sunny has amazing montages. Lol, Mac & Carmen (complete with the dick avoidance hug) juxtaposed to Charlie's "date" where he just buys the waitress a bunch of stuff
They also do amazing with fliers or signs or things like that. You'll see :)
I always forget how good the first season is. Feels weird without Frank, but still hilarious.
Great video. Keep it up.
Before they ever got the TV series, in fact maybe when they were still in school, they did a short film of the scene where Charlie tells Dennis that he has cancer. It might even be the case that that short film helped them land the series.
This entire episode (a different version) was actually the pilot, you can find clips of it around. Dee was a different actress in that pilot, if I recall.
@@TheGallantDrake yeah i think you are right, i saw some bits from that pilot here on youtube
After reading your comment I searched it up and found a short clip of it! So cool!
This episode is one of a very few that RCG have expressed some regrets about in hindsight. Glenn Howerton has specifically said that, given a re-do, they'd probably treat the trans issues with a bit more sensitivity/put a little more thought into them. Still, in 2005, this was one of the few shows acknowledging trans existence at all, and the fact that they used a conventionally-attractive female actor for the trans-woman character was a big departure from the tired and bigoted "trans women are just ugly dudes in drag" visual gag. They're honest about the issues and the jokes are generally about the Gang's hang-ups and prejudices, so, overall, not terrible in that regard, at least as far as I can see. This is one of the first shows I can recall seeing that treated (especially) a trans woman as just a normal character, rather than someone with a shameful secret.
This is pretty good.
I think you doubled your subscribers in a week!
Iâm so very grateful!! đ„°đ„°
Eve, what do you think about this show compared to other comedy shows you've seen?
Honestly, unlike any other comedy Iâve watched. It is so outrageously funny, while at the same time insane. The writing is clever and witty and the characters are awful and brilliant. Iâm loving it đ€©
Dude, is that a hate crime?
Shit yeah, it's a hate crime.
