Can you do the same thing by putting a positive and negative power source to it?

I have a question. I have a 2015 dodge, automatic dart aero multiair 1.4. Last week it threw code P106A then engine light turned off. Now, 8 days later, check engine light came on, loss of power ( acceleration) 6k rpm I was going about 32mph only. Took it in, and auto shop said it's not showing any codes??. They reset check engine light, and still no power and no check engine light. Please any help would be appreciated!!

So that's why the engines are loud.

I'm dealing with this exact problem now. VVT solenoid on cylinder 1 is no good. Misfires intermittently, vibrates and jerks like crazy, speedometer needle vibrates back and forth as it works harder to compensate for the misfiring cylinder. My solenoid has its timing off and completely shuts consistently when it should be 100% open. Of course FCA made it to where the multiair head is not serviceable so the whole head assembly needs replaced. It's not really a DIY kinda fix. Special tools, complicated system, complicated fix. All said it's gonna cost 1900 dollars to fix on my 2014 Rallye Dodge dart 2.4l. I love these videos tho they've really helped me troubleshooting any problem on the dart. Only wish I had the expertise to perform this fix.

  • @anasty321

Is this how they sound while operating on a running engine? They come on and off and are audible from inside the vehicle? Or do they just sound like that because the engine isn't running in the video? Like do they sound like that because they are starved for oil in the video or is this how they are supposed to sound on a running engine? (behind the engine noise;when they kick on)
