I always decide a color palette for my flowers that complements the exterior colors of the house, and I find that red and purple/blue are pretty easy to work with and match with almost any home. I was so thrilled when I learned the "little bit of dirt" terrain paint trick, and that's also something I use on the roots of trees to make them pop more with those rocks at the base like you said. Great job covering this topic! It really is practice makes perfect
