    Oh jesus, I'm gonna get some shit for this post. Here goes. Firstly Hawkins was one man and any death is sad but not all are tragic. This guy died because he took drugs. That ain't tragic, it's stupid and dumb. The autopsy showed Hawkins had ten substances in his system at the time of his death, including opioids, benzodiazepines, tricyclic antidepressants, and THC cannabis.
    Not only that he diced with death taking a cocktauil of drugs whilst having a family that depended on him. That, in and of itself, is selfish. Eulogising someone under these circumstances is just plain wrong.
    That said we once again have to tolerate the sad sad experience of Brian May jumping on any bandwagon he can just to maintain an iota of relevance.May is a shill: a man who will do anything to extend the profitable reward of keeping Mercurys legacy alive. The song he preformed has no lyrically relevance to Hawkins or death: it's about the break up of a relationship, clearly innappropraite when you think about it.
    These 'spectacles' whereby a famous persons death is celebrated are sickening. And why was it held in the UK, Hawkins was a yank? Why can't these people mourn in private like the rest of us have to do and why sell tickets to perform that mourning with a shambolic music show containing such fake and clearly false expressions of pain. It insults my intelligence and I'm surprised it doesn't shock yours.
    Finally most of the comments below are from empty shells of people who seem to enjoy over emotive expressions of grief towards someone who died whilst doing something highly illegal. That is surprising in itself.

    • @lauraboiocchi4666
      @lauraboiocchi4666 Před 2 lety +15

      Jesus this comment is everything wrong with the world. The drugs found in Taylor's system were all prescription drugs for different treatments, including depression. He's not to blame for his death.
      That being said, Brian and Taylor were good friends and Taylor had been adopted into Brian's and Roger's families. He's here honouring a friend, someone who sought his advice and inspiration for years and declared their mutual admiration constantly. All of that while also singing a song written by another friend of his who died.
      If you don't have nothing nice to say, just shut the fuck up

      @@lauraboiocchi4666 Jesus, you're comment is everything that's wrong in this world! (see what i did there numbnuts?)
      If what you aid is true and that all the drugs were prescribed then why did he die when he did? If he was supposed to take the drugs in the amounts that he did then he would have died earlier. Fact is if you research the drugs he took all advice is that you do not take them in combination. I very much doubt you will research it because people like you beleive what you told or read in scam over emotive shite tabloids or TV news stories.
      As for your comment about 'honouring a friend' I'd point you back to my initial comment. As for your use of the words inspiration and admiration I don't give a shit who shills like Taylor admire. One has to wonder why these people feel the need to 'honour a friend 'in front of thousands of people. Once again, the song May sang has zero lyrical reference to death. The only reason he performed it is because of the title: again an over emotive pathetic attempt at faux grief.
      If you don't have anything factual or relevant to say I suggest you shut the fuck up. (oooops, I did it again!)
