Splendid, David!!!! The dynamics in your music can bring me to tears! You don't hear many things that beautiful anymore. Since this song is my fav of all time, when my time comes, at the end of a life of sunshine, I have asked for this song to be both played and sung at my final finale. I also wrote an arragement of it many years ago, and oh how I have enjoyed it! It changes keys a few times during the arrangement, and is played with alot of feeling to keep it interesting...and just to think..because the producers were running short on time, they came within a Gnat's breath of...leaving Dorothy's S.O.T.R. solo OUT of the movie. What we almost lost! Thank you again, for all the beauty you share with all of us thru your playing!
I always liked the verse for this song so it was nice that you played it before the chorus. Also loved the key change to E and the chord progressions. You did a great job of taking a great arrangement and orchestrating it for the Wersi and playing it with emotion the song deserves. Well done!
