A pilot doesn't do that but Lindsey just heard you say "After Landing Checklist please Lindsey" and cleared her throat to start. Love it. My first thoughts were "Ryan brings daughter along to chill and look out window" After:" Ryan teaches Lindsey how to do things and now knows how to help a pilot" This was so cool to see Ryan. Your daughter seems like a natural
One of the greatest parts of single pilot certification is the opportunity to take someone up into the SIC seat for a chance to learn what it takes to command this craft! Love it. CJ’s are so much fun and proven safe. Hard to beat.

One of the most adorable videos. I was lucky enough to do something similar with my 9 year old daughter when I obtained my single pilot rating on the Citation II some 20 years ago. We would sail to a smaller island, anchor off n take a swim then sail back to the main island. Not sure if I always did my homework though. Haha!😁❤️❤️❤️
That’s great! You’re going to have a good time. I don’t work for Foreflight. They provide these call signs to customers as a way of blocking your tail number. It’s just an alternative to a “dotcom” call sign.
This just warmed my heart. I'm a father of a 7yo and i fly this plane on sim almost every day and she joins me sometimes. This video made me hope that one day i can take my lil girl up in the real skies in a cockpit. Amazing videos 🙏

I'm a non-pilot and hadn't heard of ForeFlight before. Interesting product. I could see the benefit for privacy, or if you own multiple planes. Helpful to make sure you're always using the right call sign.
That video is just too precious! Our family always did things together such as boating and woodworking teaching them as we went. I'm a little older now, expecting a great grandchild early next year. I still have fond memories of everything we did together and our kids (two boys & a girl) still remember it as well. You are forming memories that will last both of you for a lifetime and bring you closer together as a family. Keep it up! Great video!

Ryan, what a great example you are setting for Lindsay as a father and pilot. She is reading so well and it’s obvious that she is interested in flying. You are creating a great future pilot! You gave her enough responsibilities on that short flight and she is gaining confidence in some little things like the checklist. I have taken many, many people up in airplanes over the last 35 years and I’ve done exactly what you did with Lindsay. Letting her fly a little bit and be in the cockpit can spark a passion that can last a lifetime. I am willing to bet right now that she will be a pilot in 9-10 more years. Start socking the money away if you haven’t already done so, her schooling will be expensive. Tell Lindsay that all who are watching this video are very proud of her and her flying skills.
Flying with my dad was very memorable. I'm in my 60's and dad flew air ambulance. Twin turbo prop king air, baron and Navajo. Fun times, and i have 800 hours (sim ha ha)

I chuckled at the “autopilot explanation”as I’ve had to explain this to so many novices through the years. We don’t just push a button and sit back and work a crossword puzzle like people think. The automation works because of our (sometimes constant) input. What a charming video!
Nothing wrong with that! We started flying together back when I could only fly Cherokees. Now when I ask if they want to come flying, before they answer they ask if we are flying in a jet or not! 😂

Aside re flight safety: Personally I would be inclined to provide my daughter with her music and safe access to her backpack *first* such that she is immediately put at ease, occupied, with inclination to ask for them now removed. This would also free me to conduct my preflight without (or at least with one less source of) distraction🤔💭
