    Yes ma'am! Backhands are mostly very easy to rerurn/defend. Instead, smashing on the opponent's racket while he/she has just revived from the previous shot is beneficial. Also, consecutive smashes have their own advantages as most of the times its difficult to return back all of them if they r powerful enough!
    Thanks for the video mam!

      Was busy for awhile now, been taking in more coaching online plus our on and off strict lockdowns made it harder to make videos on court. Thank you and hopefully, i will be able to do more videos this year! 😁🏸

      Yes been a little busier with more coaching online plus the on and off rise of cases that forces courts to be strict makes it difficult to shoot more videos. But hopefully this year will be better. Thank u! 😁🏸

    Hello Coach, I had a question that, is shoulder strength necessary for Badminton? Will it be ok if we don't train our shoulders at all? Can you please explain this in detail? Thank you so much for your videos coach🤘🏸.

      @CoachKennieAsuncion  Před 2 lety +1

      Definitely you need to strengthen your shoulder otherwise your strength is limited to what you have right now. Whereas strengthening it could get u farther. 😁🏸

    Hello ma'am. I am 16 years old, currently in 10th. Earlier, I used to run away from sports and I am good at studies. But I got inspiration from Tokyo Olympics Indian medalist like P V Sindhu and Neeraj Chopra to pursue sports to win a medal for India in international levels. I have started practicing badminton with my father and brother 5 am every morning till 8 am. My parents are very supportive and are encouraging me whether i take sports or studies. But during exercise in morning my lega pain and I am a little bit overweight. It's been a week started. And I am deciding to do badminton practice during Saturday and Sundays due to my 10th exams. Deciding to join a academy after boards. So my request is that if you could help me if my decision of badminton is right? And also please suggest some good badminton academy near me. hoping to get a reply from you soon.

      As a badminton coach ofcourse i am happy to hear you have big dreams and goals. Truly winning medals for your country is very honorable. However, this can also be demanding of your time and effort but as long as you are determined and willing to put in the work plus good skill sets then keep going for it!!😁🏸
