    good advice thank you. To be honest, it’s hard to deal with such things on the court. Sometimes we can’t say too much to partners, because we fear this and that, you know that Kennie

      That is true!! Having a consistent partner for tournaments will be good but if players play for fun and love to switch partners and change opponents then its a bit of an extra work to get along on court😁😁

    I love your sensible down to earth approach and advice.
    Keep up the great work, it's appreciated. Thanks Kennie.
    Perhaps you could answer a question for me?
    How to return a low serve that travels fast and flat just over the net. The server stands far back to achieve the flat trajectory. I find the angle difficult to handle.
    Any advice much appreciated.
    Thank you.

      Thanks Paul! Appreciate it! I’ll answer your question hopefully with a video but a tip is to raise your racket just the same level sa the net so those flat serves will be easier to return since thats what you find harder and even if the serve is not flat you will have the time to move your racket higher or lower. 😁🏸

    I hope this video is helpful, but when it comes to communication with a partner, not only I use my words, but what I need to know is to use hand signals, even before the service.

    When we see an international doubles at the start the players do symbols with there fingers like 1 or 2 etc like that behind there back. What does that means?

    • @CoachKennieAsuncion
      @CoachKennieAsuncion  Před 3 lety +3

      Its their code as to where they are serving the shuttle so they can position well immediately after😁🏸

    Hello Coach!
    Thanks for nice video 🏸🏸🏸
    What should be the hand position in defence so that we can pick smashes all around our body easily?
    Actually it's difficult to pick smashes on wrong hand side/non dominant hand of body.

      For me the grip is the same as your waiting positon which is hand shake grip however grip quickly change when returning backhand… sometimes while moving the grip and the shuttle is fast we might hit back with a wrong grip… check out the defense video:

    • @CoachKennieAsuncion
      @CoachKennieAsuncion  Před 3 lety +1

      It tells their partner where they will serve to... front right, front left or to the back or a flick serve. That is so their partner can get ready for the possible next shot😁🏸

      I always feel that rackets are personal. Even if i suggest what i like, it’s not a guarantee you will like it. I suggest to look at the rackets thats in your price range, hold and feel the racket if you like it. 😁🏸
