Nice job Im getting ready to build a kitchen Island. One of my biggest decisions to make, is the number and size of drawers for the vertical height of the cabinet .

That’s great! What style of doors/drawer fronts are you doing? And what overlay are you thinking?

I will be doing Slab drawer fronts and slab doors, no hardware. I will back slope the top or the bottom of the door or drawer face, as a finger pull surface. We are shooting for a very modern clean look @@SupernalPaintingUSA

The overlays I will want very close fittings with adjacent drawer or doors, , , like 1/16

Love that, super popular right now. Have you thought about using Push to Open hardware instead of a pull notch? We do them both but I’ve really liked the Push to Open hardware lately

What is the calculator tool you are using? Looks very helpful.

Oh man it’s fantastic, I’ve used several inch calculators but this one is my go to, it should be on the Apple or Google store as Feet and Inch Calculator. It saves a ton of time for sure

Oh yeah it makes all fractional math way faster, you can mess with the settings at ton to personalize it too which I’ve done

Hey there! I don’t understand all of the translation but it sounds like you’re saying we should hand sand instead of using our orbital sanders. I’m curious why you think we should do that if we need a surface to be flat so it can be primed and topcoated
