My first podium🏆 - Donington park wet race💦 - No Limits Racing🏁 Honda CB500

- Racing with No Limits Racing this year, and this was the first of the year for me. Also my first wet race 💦 so I had no idea what to expect from the tyres. I've only used them for a few laps In a practice session last year. It took me a bit of time to build up some confidence on them. To be fair, they were pretty good. I could feel quite a lot through them and once I got a few laps in, I felt like I was ok. Visor spray and steam was pretty bad all the way through the race, but thankfully the pace was a lot slower than usual. Had a few dodgy moments where I ran wide and onto the painted lines, never great!
Anyway, first podium achieved, so pretty chuffed with that 🏆👌

Cheers mate, yeah still enjoying it. I felt rusty as this was the first one I've done this year. Was good fun once I got into it 😊 Some of the riders were far too quick for me to keep up with, especially in the dry.

Cheers mate. Yeah I know, I was thrashing the bike as hard as I could to pick up speed. It's difficult as he was able to slip stream behind me to the line. But it's all part of it 😁

very very good... one question, do you know if exist a sort of steering damper for our cb500 pc30 ? Im searching but i can not find any
Thank you👍 I don't think you can get them for this bike. I've never seen one before. I haven't had any issues with steering on this bike.
Only models of this type of CB500 are PC26 Parallel Twin 1994-1997 made in Japan and runs Nissin front brake caliper.
PC32 1997-2003 Parallel Twin made in Italy and has Brembo front and rear brake calipers.
A Honda PC30 is a CBR600F2. Inline 4 cylinder.

Did you enjoy the wet race?
I did wet one at Oulton in 1982 on a Yam 350LC, I was crapping it a fair bit but really enjoyed the experience and did quite well but no podium.
What hot and/or cold pressures were you running?
Cheers! 😁 Yeah I was anxious the first two laps, I didn't know what to expect. Wasnt sure how fast I could go, how hard to brake or how much lean angle I could get away with. I got a bit sloppy on track when I got in front of the others, but I knew I was being chased 🤣 Afterwards I felt good though 👍
Oh and I had 30 front 28 rear, which I set when cold.
