OMG! Great duet with Christina Aquilera! (This cover was originally sung by Spanish composer Miguel Gallardo.) Fernandez, one of my favorite ballad singers (second to Jose Jose), has a voice as smooth as milk chocolate. He sings another incredible duet with his father, the legendary Vicente Fernandez, titled "Me Olvide de Vivir" (a song by a French composer made famous by Julio Iglesia in the late 70s). I prefer Alejandro's pop ballads, but his more traditional Mexican songs are also incredible.

Christina had a new Spanish album out called Aguilera. It won a Latin Grammy for the best pop album!
+ 1- This ballad did serve as the opener for a telenovela. 2- Christina not only has an entire album in Spanish, but won a Latin Grammy for it as well. It is phenomenal. But has also done duets fully in Spanish with Ricky Martin, Andrea Bocceli, and Luis Fonsi.
Aside from that noted. Im shocked you havent reacted to more of Christina Aguilera. Not only does she have a unique voice but Musically speaking. The woman has spanned & sung in more styles & genres than any other Diva in the last 20 years. I mean Jazz, Soul, Blues, Rock, Country, Disco, Pop, Dance, Electronica, Latin Pop, R&B, Latin Tropical, Hip Hop, even a Broadway Tune. And she has the Grammys to show for it.

Dereck hit it on the head when he said this song would be the perfect song to hear at the beginning of a Spanish speaking Novela (aka Latin Soap Opera). In fact many Novela theme songs have been so good that they have reached number one in many Latin countries such as the song by Ilan Chester called Palabras Del Alma. Also, the song Dos Mujeres Un Camino by Laura Leon one to number one and it was a Novela starring the Puerto Rican Erik Estrada in a Mexican made Novela.

She has an entire spanish álbum. Most songs are versions of her first record, like Genio Atrapado and Ven Conmigo. But, Pero Me Acuerdo de Ti and Falsas Esperanzas are exclusive songs for that record. Pero me Acuerdo de Ti has a official vídeo. You should react tô that, since you loved her singing in spanish. She, also, won a Grammy Latino for that work.
