He comes across as arrogant to me and he thought he could get away with cheating. Karma’s a bitch!.
My thoughts too! In one episode, he was looking at an Octagonal table, and kept calling it Hexagonal. Next thing, the narrator is saying Hexagonal table!! And a man wearing a scarf inside, or anywhere, is a BAD look! I wouldn't wear one in the hight of Winter.
Well said
Big headed individual and has a very high opinion of himself
Yeah glad Rebecca divorced him
The ONE thing he used to say that really bugged me, is that he called Aluminium 'Alloy'. Alloy has nothing whatsoever to do with Aluminium! Aluminium is an ELEMENT! Examples of Alloy - Bronze, Brass, Stainless Steel, Mild Steel, Pewter, 9ct Gold, 18ct Gold etc etc. IGNORAMUS!!
Ah! Drew Pritchard, the sort of person who, if you were introduced to at a party, you’d spend the rest of the evening doing your best to avoid! Obnoxious little man, arrogant and big headed. He was also on a car restoration program with expert Paul Cowland, and as usual he was always right and wouldn’t be told what to do, even if proved wrong.
I had the pleasure not of meet him at his shop in Wales obnoxious t wat.
never liked him
I worked for a aid charity and met a hundred guys like Drew And at the end of the day they are all 2 bit hustlers and want the stuff as cheap as possible , But what pissed me of was they always had a little story to tell us Like if the Steinway piano was "2 bigger it would be worth more, Or "its not the painting I want Its the frame " hahaha. Drew is a hustler and conman but that's his nature and because of his sly nature he lost his biggest treasure ? The English Rose Rebecca
That was not a rush seated Suffolk chair... it was 1960's plastic.... dear Lord😢
Wow so many negative comments on here !! I like Drew and his knowledge and love the programe Salvage Hunters. Of course he buys at a good price and sells it with a profit ! I mean that’s his business and he has to pay employees, warehouse, electricity, insurance etc etc.
He cheated on Rebecca which of course I find unacceptable but how many people cheat on their partner and what does his private life have to do with the quality of the programe ??
I love the shows and never really thought Drew was arrogant. I just see him as passionate about what he does, and is very knowledgeable. He sometimes has that short man syndrome, where he's a bit bossy. He has a good sense of humour, and his clients seem to like him. I didn't like the way he treated his wife, with an affair - she comes across as a lovely lady, and very intelligent.
Rebecca is a lovely lady and entitled to move on and forge ahead with the next chapter in her life and I'm sure she will be successful with whatever path she chooses. I wish them both happiness, joy and prosperity.
And don't listen to negative people, they'll on make you feel sad and that will make you feel ill 😊❤ stay happy
Cheating people ?
Stuff buried and forgotten in old buildings , attics , basements , vacant buildings , terrible shape does not require top dollar.
An item is only worth what someone is willing to pay. A great deal of work is needed to restore items. Yes he had workers who did restoration. Much studying , research goes into having a keen eye. Rescuing history is not a crime.
Maybe, but if an 'expert' tells you an item is worth £2,500, when, in fact, it's worth £500, would YOU pay the £2,500??
@@michaellooney1089 Then tell me one thing you buy that's actually sold to you at cost, rather than a profit? That'd be nothing then. It's called business. Next time you go shopping, refuse to buy any food on the basis that it's not worth the asking price. Compare what farmers get paid for cattle, and then see how much joints of meat are sold for. It's BUSINESS!
Bought stuff from people on the cheap and sold at eyewatering high prices. Never liked him, came across as very arrogant indeed.
The seller also got publicity.
That's what most businesses do .
Guess how you're coming across ? Buy low, sell high - that's business, you're getting paid for your knowledge !
Jealousy is a very bad affliction.
I could say I don't like you, but as I've never met you, then I couldn't make that call. All I can say is that you don't run a business.
I assumed that he knew he was going to have to give one half of his assets to his former wife....so close that business down!!
He probably made enough to buy her out. Assets are not earnings. You make earnings from the assets.
@@tonydalton6756 He recently had a large auction
Egocentric, self opinionated, arrogant, smug. But I do enjoy watching with the sound turned down.
He closed his shop to open a massive warehouse, switching to on line. His wife divorced him and is a successful business woman. His children also help in the business. Tee has also left his empl oy now. Drew has a very good eye and knows what sells. He works hard.
I find the restorers really interesting..hope they have made good new connections from the programme. They are good speakers too... hope they were paid well for their efforts.
Saw Tee on a recent programme, he's really let himself go, looked like a homeless bloke!
GREAT PROGAMME LOVE IT
At least the show "AMERICAN PICKERS" channel 12 freeview, If THEY buy something cheap that turns out to be a real expensive "GEM", they give half the profit back to the oringinal seller.
Drew has done that in some instances but only to private sellers - not when he has bought from a dealer.
@@ianmontgomery7534 You are wrong about that. He buys from dealers all over the place.
His wife seemed to repeat some of what he said at times, but she seemed a nice person. He has a bossy look at me ! kind of persona and although he may care for antiques does he also care for who and what he has to do to get his hands on them? He is not one to get HIS hands dirty by the looks of things.
LOVED the show. Flaws in personal lives hurt big time. I'm SO sorry to hear.
I cannot disagree with a word you said.
Drew didn't restore anything, he ripped people off then got professionals to restore them. Horrible little man.
I agree
100% toyoungtobeold a real lowlife a horrible little turd.
That is a very nasty thing to say,
If its true@@jamesbradshaw3389 its going to be nasty to somebody, thats why some "people" think free speech shouldn't apply to some people because some people spoil it by telling the trurh got it Jimmy?

Never liked him
A person who's never met him, doesn't like him. I'm sure he'll be devastated. 🤣
@@joeblack8915 I don’t give a F what you think 🤣🥱
Possibly this video could have given an explanation of the circumstances before every body started commenting.
It was 19 minutes of rinse and repeat before the 'Tragedy' was revealed and glossed over in 60 seconds. At least I watched it at x1.5 and skipped a lot.
Flawed like most people , but has a great eye which most don't.
drew wasn't like that at first with fame came the arrogance and pomposity couldn't stand him after a few seasons turned into a horrible little man
He’s a bloody conman and he knows it.
Running any business involves making a profit. Try understanding that before spouting blind hatred.
@@joeblack8915 oh really!!!
I have watched most of Salvage Hunter's.
And I can say without hesitation that Drew and T are truly entertaining and a must watch if you are looking for a programme that will make you laugh, but much much more than that, you will learn about the history of antiquities and find out how Drew can find an item that others would walk away from, but he will have it restored and it is astounding it gets a new lease of life. Look forward to seeing their next series.
When your heads that big fame and fortune always seem to go to it and make it bigger.
I'm sure Drew and Mike Brewer could start a tv prog together, imagine the viewing figures ! ( imagine the struggle for dominance !)
I liked drew up until he cheated on Rebecca and taunted the husband of the woman he was having the affair with. He had done enough damage to that man without publicly humiliating him. He got off lightly on that occasion maybe not so in the future.
Gav was giving it to Rebecca at every opportunity.
@@jambo7348 Were you 'covering for Gav?
@@anthonytaylor9232 Yes, I'm sick of covering for Gav.
@@jambo7348 Rather you than me!
They are all like him buy low sell things high that is business unfortunately.
I used to love watching this programme on TV………..It’s a shame if his shop is now closed, since watching Drew with T and Rebecca and all their Crew…… I always wanted to drive up Wales to visit his shop.
Drew is free free from a dishonest wife plenty more where she came from what’s sad about it he can now sleep at nightxxxx he could have had a gang of kids to worry about
@@patcardiff2563 …… in what way dishonest
@@patcardiff2563 he was the one having an affair not her, he taunted the husband of the woman he was knobbing & got punched out for it. nasty little pos.
Excellent show, great bunch of people, all of them , God bless them all
He was the one that cheated.
Self made, intelligent man.
Thanks Drew.
I thoroughly enjoyed the programme and Drew's style. He was a clever business man and good luck to him.
A talented man with a remarkable memory and a keen eye for the beautiful . He never forced anyone to ask his offers, they were all adults who made their own decisions. As a person.... I would reserve my opinion until I met the man off camera. Morally... I'm not judging. I'm sure everyone has done things they're not proud of...
??????????
No one is perfect
Never liked the guy. He came across as arrogant and self centred. He was nothing more than an old school knocker boy.
He wasn't that interested in the item. Just about how much he could rip off the seller for. Sure, every dealer wants to clear a profit, but he really took the p#ss.
There are better shows out there where the dealers offer a fair price for items.
Even the latest fad for buying at car boot sales shows how greedy people can be. Buying cheap and then selling on eBay for a huge profit.
try buying a house these days then.
I meet Drew at a an antique business in Essex. When I told him I had been buying, exporting antiques to Italy,France an many other countries in Europe. And in part. to US. He was very interested , saying. I wasn't even born then. then.we exchanged several stories. Really nice an interesting chap. All these negative comments are made by people who have never meet him. I say to them. GET A LIFE.
And wrecked a few as he progressed in his
I know someone who met him and said he was a smug, arrogant little prat. Exactly as he comes across on the tv then.
@@pylo1608 No you don't. 🤣
@@Noseypoke-mr7th Oh how wonderful it must be to be a paragon of perfect virtue.
@joeblack8915 yeah I do 🤣🤣🤣 it's not beyond the realms of possibility you know.
Who would allow Drew to nob them, at least with T you could pretend you were in the lord of the rings.
It is not cheating people or stealing from people if a price is agreed by both the seller and buyer! I have witnessed with my own eyes him paying a lot more than the price asked on many occasions! Also seen him pay thousands of pounds for pieces of furniture fit for a bonfire! The comments on here about he is never invited back once he has bought off someone is simply not true. A lot of the people he bought from where other antique dealers! Personally I find pleasure in seeing an ordinary guy become a big success! Good luck to the lot of them!
Great show.... he knows his onions.
I love those SALVAGE HUNTERS, Drew is the man, he has excellent knowledge, Rebessa,a very smart lady. Drews side kick Tee has the best one-liners of all time, he would make a great comic
Rebessa??
@@michaellooney1089 I have not got the time to educate you, as it would take at least 80 years to do that
Not my cup of tea as a person…can sum him up in 2 words…surly and smug.
Drew kept emphasising his interest in chairs, table and lighting because, “everyone needs them”
Fine for profit but sometimes boring for TV.
He passed by detailed model boats, planes and even a spitfire aircraft. That was the day I stopped watching.
Oh boo hoo... I'm sure you'll find all those things in your man shed.. boring
@@maggielarkin9314 It was a real Spitfire. Wont go in the shed. It would be good to see clocks, fire surrounds, brass items. Old bikes and antique guns.
It’s good though that you don’t find tables, lights and chairs - Booring.
You would think by now, sellers would be wise to him?..Buying cheap & selling dear, nor surprised he is out of it..
Karma got pay back in the end
Banned from every pub in conwy allegedly
What heartbreaking tragedy? His adulterous behaviour behind his wife back?I had an item at a stall sales, he had two mentors appraising items for him for the show.
What the heck's in Tee's head, gone from a tidy looking chap to someone that likes wearing bird's nest hats
He looks like a homeless bloke now!
Mmmmmm Can I suggest that no-one knows the truth about anyone's marriage but the two people involved!!!! Such venom spewing forth I wish them both all the very best for all future projects. I happen to really respect both of them and loved the show.
Really enjoyed the video I’ve always liked drew and t hope everything is well with him now thank you for sharing
Now he's buying cars seems he can't make up his mind on what he wants to do.
Yes, and now he's a car 'expert'!
So what? .he works .
@@user-kw8vi5sb6q But he can't tell the difference between 6 and 8...
So he was a cheat in more ways than one, greedy little sod.
Missable Man a know it all !
Mr Patina.
Always wanted something for nothink
Word of advice. Never start up a business.
I know a man just like him and he's been beaten up more than once for ripping people off.Pritchard is no different.
Only original once then he goes and restores it !!!!🤔
a tight git who knows his stuff
Sad con man stealing of people he got run out of town
So after all that he's moving on to new, as yet unannounced things.
Generally had a good eye for unwanted; yet valuable, stuff.
Never heard that he restored anything; just flipped it after others did the restoration.
Well he couldn't do both as restoring takes time
Great show watched them all very Intresting and enjoyable. Met and spoke to drew a couple of times. Nice guy. Hard working and very clever.
Arrogant person , show belongs in the dustbin .
I agree with the comments of many that , as a person, he comes across as an odious, obnoxious, arrogant and greedy little man. I'm not totally convinced of the true reality of this show, or whether part of it is TV created.
The narrator comments on the "charm and wit" of Drew's negotiation skills, I disagree. Drew is more of a shyster, bullying some into underselling. When the estimated value of an item is shown compared against the pitiful sum paid just shows Drew's thieving mentality.
My suggestion that this show is partial TV creation is based on why would anyone sell to him having seen the great disparity in sums bought and sold. I wouldn't. One would be a total idiot to trust his valuations, offers and deal with him.
Finally, this narrative sounds like it was written by Pritchard himself. Haven't watched the programme for ages, the mere sight of his smug face makes you want to slap it! However, I do enjoy the Restorers spin off, truly skilled artisans.
Comes across as arrogant and rude when exploring with some people. He is to smug
Never liked him arrogant a sneaky man
Conceited and extremely SMUG.
Not very nice to old mates. I think the only thing he loved was Enzo. Why is a septic narrating this?
Ha..I think she is called Rebecca..erm..too much "vintage" booze..must try and restore my ability by having another bottle perhaps...but not in a pub where Drew is getting off with someone else's wife
Typical of his type in that business.
says on his programs pays a fair price for things and gives more ...hes a dealer so pays for the lowest price its all a tv con the man is a robber and a fake
I watch all the SH shows, Drew & T are a good combo. Love watching Drew ferret out the finds. It’s a shame about D & R, when did Drew find the time for…? 🙏🏼🌎💖🇺🇸. 😉
He cheats people out of their property and wonders why he doesn't get asked back to places to but items, don't tell the owner it's gonna cost X amount to restore an item, your buying sold as seen if your planning to restore don't put that on the owner your trying to buy off
