The Turks were not our brothers, we Arabs, not for one day. They are invaders who occupied our land, destroyed the civilization of the Arabs, massacred many Arab tribes and forcibly expelled them from their homes in what is called "Safar Berlak". For 500 years, Arab cities lived through the dark ages under the Sufi Ottoman rule, and heresies, polytheism, and grave worship spread. Mecca and Medina were neglected, and they were only slightly expanded, so they remained in their poor condition for 500 years under the rule of the Ottomans. The Ottomans themselves sought help from the French and the British against the Muslims in the Arabian Peninsula!! So why is it lawful for them to do that and forbidden for us when we used the British to defeat the invading Ottomans?

We fell due to idol worship of the gods of Europe of whom we knew nothing of; following the ways of foreign nations and looking more towards the people of Dunya and their narratives instead of Akhira.
Ibn Khaldun said, "Strong men make good times, good times make weak men, weak men make hard times, hard times makes strong men"
This is the great fitnah Muhammad SAW warned us about and that it would last for a term appointed, gog and magog ruling over the earth.
Colonialism and neocolonialism have been a cancer to the earth and Muslim world and until our hearts are one again for the love of Allah Alone more than the love of the manifest, generations will suffer for an appointed time.
When Islam returned from the time of Adam under Muhammad SAW, it was strange; when it left the hearts, it was strange and when it returns it will be strange because it is not of the Dunya, but the rulership over the Dunya.
When love of Allah consumes the heart completely over our nafs, Allah will exalt man as viceroy over the earth. When love of our nafs is greater, we destroy our selves as those nations before us by our own tongue and private parts and bellies looking to devour illusion over The Reality of The Truth. None but Allah can purify the hearts of men; none but our own lower desires can corrupt it and bring to ruin.
May Allah purify our hearts with virtues, good manners and the best character as an example of what it means to be in Abode of Peace. Guarding your Peace within over chaos without is the real jihad(struggle) that leads to eternal happiness and victory. Then the leaders must reflect the will of the righteous and not the will of the corrupt who devour the wealth of the people in semblance of managing their affairs. Your assessment of Lawrence as a betrayer of the Arab cause, is simplistic. Lawrence was a British Officer who initially rallied the Arabs for a common cause, whilst unaware of the De Bunsen agreement of 1915 and the subsequent Sykes/Pecot of 1916. It became known to him in 1917 but by then the full extent of the revolt was in progress. The effect on him lasted his whole life as he never reconciled both his betrayal or guilt. Today's problems are primarily from the 1947 events, but certainly the betrayal of the Palestinian cause started by the governments of 1919.

Turkey proved herself when in the Greeko-Turkish war in the 1970s in Cyprus, let the Arabs prove themselves as well.
While the Turks moved on to build a secular nation, the Arabs sank further into the influence of religious leaders, same with Persia. It's almost a century yet they are nowhere close to proving themselves of any sophistication beyond extremism and male guardianship which has oppressed half of their population (women)
Catherine the Great of Russian empire wouldn't have achieved the success she achieved if she towed the path of the Church like the Roman empire but I guess only the Turks were intelligent enough to learn from her, the Arabs and Persians thought her success was a mere coincidence as they don't see women as humans let alone people they can learn from

When time passes for anything, any attempt to hold on to it will be catastrophic.
What Turkey achieved during the Greeko-Turkish war, if it had turned theocratic like Iran or Saudi, it could have lost that war.
Let people's religion be their personal business, more Sects are emerging everyday with Muslims not identifying with any sect becoming more prevalent, it will be catastrophic if any nation choose to run an Islamic nation in which the state's interpretation will go against that of others which can be a source of conflict that external actors can take advantage of.
Ever since Sharia was adopted in Northern Nigeria we have been struggling with Islamists killing people in the name of wanting to return to the era of Othman Danfodio Caliphate that collapsed almost the same thing with the Ottoman empire.

And if you don't agree with them they call you as western or no Muslim. They don't seem like they learned their lesson but they are still same.
Today we Turks don't want the Ottoman back we don't want such dreams. But that doesn't mean we hate the Ottoman. We are proud and grateful of them. But it's gone and we are happy with our republic and secularism. Oh and Ottoman empire was never an Islamic empire it was secular too especially towards the end.

Sorry to say but the Muslim ummah divided the Muslim ummah. Had the ummah been following the Qur’an they would’ve known not to take for friends or helpers disbelievers rather than believers (3:28).
But they allowed the Kufr to penetrate their greedy hearts and fool them using the old but gold tactic ‘divide to conquer’.
What was the dispute with the Ottoman Muslims and the Arab Muslims that they couldn’t band together against the disbelievers I wonder?

One thing Lawrence did in the Middle East was to stoke up the feeling of Arab nationalism and the hatred for the ottoman Turk. Ottoman Empire had its own problems from within, with the rebellious secular young Turk movement undermining the ottoman sultan.

the young Turks were traitors most of them were armenians, jews and greeks and could only win if the west helped them

Using yesterdays problems to solve todays. Zeal and false unity that is founded and funded by these men that stops people from rising from the dusts they were reduced to is the problem. The problem no sovereignty the solution is sovereignty

I’ll add, the same Lawrence today tells people nationalism is the disease of the ummah. When nationalism was a disease against a established caliphate not the current day ummah with no structured country to any name. Yesterdays suckers unfortunately today is even worse

He didn't need to stoke anything up. If the Ottomans were good people, Lawrence wouldn't have been able to do anything. In fact, they'd have slit his throat and cut his tongue out for trying. Fact is, the Ottomans were horrible, the Brits were worse, and the ziønists are just sùbhúmàns.

not a turk. As a Turkish. Young Turks and Turkish nationalism were the worst thing that ever happened to the Ottoman Empire. They destroyed the 630-year-old empire in 8 years

But it was the Arab nationalism that brought Usmaniya sultanate down with the help of the British and let the European settled which eventually resulted in creation of Israel. They stabbed Ottomans in the back and the British did the same to them, what goes around comes around.

    Sura
    Al-Bagara
    120.
    And the
Jews will never be pleased with you nor the Christians unless you follow their
    Religion. Say:
    Indeed
    Guidance of
    ALLAH
    Himself is the only guidance.
And if you follow their desires after the knowledge which has come to you, then you will not have any Guardian nor a Protector, nor any Helper against ALLAH:
