The WW2 theory is ironically the closer we have to the actual lore. Two scientists creating robots with one of them obsessed with immortality by soul juice and thus making the robots lure and capture children? Sounds a lot like William and Henry to me and the funtimes with the remnant lol

The first on3 actually makes sense though? After the MCI the old animatronics were sent to the fnaf 2 location, the children were removed and were disposed of, because whoever ran Freddy’s by 1987 didn’t care about being moral, but they at least made the toys to not be able to be stuffed, so instead William killed the kids out in the open like we see in the minigame.

I have a SL theory. If people believe that Liz’s death is the first, I have an explanation. So something traumatic happened at Fall Fest. Maybe a k*dnapping, Murder, etc. William, wanting to prevent this, created the funtimes, who are able to open up and grab a child. The thick plastic and multiple layers of metal would be bullet proof to a certain degree, and that kind of thing. Maybe their scanning for adults and voice mimicking is for the safety of the children. If there are enough adults in the room, then the features wouldn’t be needed. If the kid is skeptical, the voice mimicking could help ease them. They grab them, and hold them in until the danger is gone and they are manually released. William, though, knew these features were experimental, and told Liz not to go near so the bugs could be fixed. She obviously didn’t listen, and Liz was trapped inside. When the manual controls were initiated, Circus Baby overheated, and Elizabeth died.
Is there a lot of evidence for this? Nope. Are there plot holes? Absolutely. But that’s what a theory is, a theory. A GAME THEORY

@@EnderDoesThingsAnd, getting the Remnant during Follow Me makes no sense at all. People only choose this as "proof" that SL takes place after FNaF 1, which is silly.
It makes more sense for the same Remnant reservoir used on the Toys to be used on the Funtimes.
But nah, they would rather say that Follow Me takes place over a period of a few weeks or months... that's a long time for a thunderstorm to last...

==My Thoughts, added as I watch==
Theory 1: Yeah the Toys probably can't fit kids, but it'd be only because they're skinny and probably filled with tech. Not on purpose.
Theory 2: Part of the reason people thought Mangle was a dog wasn't just because he acts like a dog, but because of the whole Susie's dead dog thing and Spring Bonnie saying. "He's not dead. He is over here." So like the dog possessed Mangle. But I don't think she's possessed by a dog, if by anyone.
Theory 3: I believe Scott at one point said he had the first five games planned out from the beginning. But at the very least, before the first game came out, he said he was for sure going to make a sequel.
Theory 4: Ridiculous, but might have a grain of truth to it. The Funtime animatronic blueprints show that Ballora's role in kidnapping kids was to be distracting (this was also Funtime Foxy's role). It is possible that Funtime Foxy distracted the kids while Ballora was meant to distract the adults. This probably isn't true, but would be really funny.
Theory 5: Don't remind me this theory exists 💀

One time somebody on fandom told me the Dawko Scott Cawthon 50/20 interview literally didn't happen just because it proved that the box has had multiple things in it.

I do have my own theory that *kinda* relates to the "adult theory"...
I can DEFINITELY imagine Fazbear Entertainment making nightclubs and such with sexy animatronic performers that are made explicitly for adults. While I HEAVILY doubt it will ever be referenced in any game, I do have my beliefs-

Still a very popular theory that William Afton murdered kids to bring back his dead family. My issue is that the evidence is rather flimsy at best, and relies fully on pure headcanon, and it's based entirely off a fan-made animation series, so it's glorified fanfiction that fans insist is 100% canon.

8:00 Damn.......now i am wonder, what if this theory is actually the thing that inspired TRTF 5, at some point😂? Like.....if I remember properly, the story starts from early 40's, in November of 1943, when Vincent(TRTF version of Purple Guy/William Afton), along with best friend-Grön(Green Guy in jester hat, probably inspired by FNaF 2 Color Brothers theory), got the job at some random robot-producing factory(yeah, animatronics in 40's, don't asking how), and one day they noticed that their boss-Alison(Blue/Cyan Guy in fedora), started acting strange, and was sneaking in some secret door, and when our colored pals decided to follow him, revealing that he is actually a psychopathic murderer, who hiding here his own secret slaughter/torture house, using special "Torture Suits" to killing and.....well, TORTURING his victims, specifically his workers, that for some reasons disappointed him, and "deserved a punishment". And what an irony, that after they escaped this place, trapping him in his own slaughterhouse, and pressumably calling for police to arrest him, this entire factory was then bought by Fazbear Entertainment, and used to sell the animatronics to various locations, even founding its own diner then.

The evidence for the mangle dog theory is Susie in one of the 8bit arcade games you see her reflection and William dressed as springbonnie saying he's not gone people took that as her dog had died and was revived with remnant

No but, really. Its a lot more than "Mangle doesn't talk, therefor Mangle is a dog." It was a brief stint in the theorizing space which MatPat did touch on at one point (though I'm about 80% sure he was not the first to coin the theory), and it had a lot more (equally as unconvincing) evidence than you covered here. The evidence can pretty neatly be sorted into 3 main points.
1. Mangle was possessed before the other Toys, assuming SAVE THEM is accurate.
Mangle is seen actively crawling around during SAVE THEM, which, at the time, was generally believed to be what causes the Toys to become possessed. Therefor, it can be assumed (by a select subset of theorists who believed in a plethora of other theories that domino-effected their way into popping this tOtAlLy LeGiTiMaTe LoGiCaL fAlLaCy WhIcH aCtS aS a ThEoRy PiTfAlL for them to pull out of their ass as a way of going "well how do you explain this in your theory? oh you don't because its a moot point and doesn't actually mean anything? well, my theory DOES explain it, so mine is clearly better" into somebody's head) that IF the DCI is what caused the Toys to become possessed, AND none of the Toys are moving during SAVE THEM except for Mangle, THEN Mangle must have been possessed by a non-DCI victim.
2. Mangle acts bizarrely during FNaF 2.
The summarization speaks for itself, people saw the damn thing crawling and decided that it made sense to assume whatever possessed Mangle had to crawl in life, too.
3. Susie's dog must be narratively important, due to being brought up, according to the community at large.
Due to the misguided belief that Scott "dOeSn'T dO cOiNcIdEnCeS," much of the community began to get super obsessed over small details (Example: Accepting Phone Guy's "if I were forced to sing those same stupid songs for 20 years and I never got a bath" comment as complete fact, ignoring the possibility of casual exaggeration and rounding numbers up), and due to the general rule of Chekov's Gun, Susie's dog essentially having an entire minigame dedicated to it (Fruity Maze) meant that it MUST be important to the story.
These three points all combined together as a great way for people to kill three completely arbitrary theory pitfalls with one genuinely pointless throwing-shit-at-the-wall-and-seeing-what-sticks concept that changed nothing about the franchise.

Another fact, which this one doesn't support or deny your claim but her character was based around food, so it made sense for her to have a bib

One small theory that may be considered bad is William Afton is literally purple like Michael but he became purple from a springlock failure but Henry saved him from getting stuck in and even dying from it but since he was fatally injured he turned purple. It has been shown in the Silver Eyes that William has been caught in springlocks before and survived.
I like that idea. The fact a springlock incident is survivable isn’t something I see brought up a lot, despite the fact it’s a major part of the story
