Today we are taking a look at EPCOT spending time at the Flower and Garden Festival and touring the UK Pavilion. Take a look at the shops, Rose and Crown, Alice in Wonderland and so much more! The United Kingdom Pavilion is a British-themed pavilion that is part of the World Showcase within Epcot at Walt Disney World near Bay Lake, Florida. The pavilion represents the four countries of the United Kingdom: England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. It is located between the France and Canada pavilions.
Epcot, stylized in all uppercase as EPCOT, is a theme park at the Walt Disney World Resort in Bay Lake, Florida. It is owned and operated by The Walt Disney Company through its Experiences division. Inspired by an unrealized concept of the same name developed by Walt Disney, the park opened on October 1, 1982, as EPCOT Center, and was the second of four theme parks built at Walt Disney World. The park spans 305 acres (123 hectares), more than twice the size of Magic Kingdom. Often referred to as a "permanent world's fair", Epcot is dedicated to the celebration of human achievement, particularly technological innovation and international culture.

I love the U.K. I love that pavilion. We’ve met Marry Poppins back there. And oh the shops!! I always come out of the shops loaded with merch. I’m such a tea drinker. I love Twinings. And I pronounce it Tw eye nings. I wish I could get you to bring me an arm load of merch. I need those new ears. Oh, I wish you could just pick me up a whole basket of things and send me a bill. 😂
Dooney and Bourke handbags run around $300. The messenger bag is usually $174. And the wallets are about $98.
Jen, this is becoming my favourite channel on CZcams. I love it. I simply can’t wait for more videos. Flower and garden is my favourite, followed by the food and wine festival.

Thank you so much Jen for sharing this with us. I started working at EPCOT Center during construction. I was in Guest Relations. We gave site tours to the heads of the various companies that were sponsoring the pavilions and countries. Also the Heads of State or their representatives of the countries, plus the international CEOs that sponsored individual shops in World Showcase. We had special pre-opening days/nights for the construction workers and their families, and WDW employees and their families. EPCOT Center has changed so much since I worked there throughout the 1980’s. The UK Pavilion was my favorite too. The Rose and Crown used to offer afternoon cream teas (scones, jam, clotted cream) in addition to being the only food location there. The shops were owned by companies from the different countries. For instance, in the UK, their was a Royal Dalton China shop, a Pringles sweater shop (the cashmere was amazing), a tobacco shop with pipes, etc, and a haberdashery that sold hats. Nothing had “Disney” on them. I had the honor of being the VIP Tour Guide that meet the Three Chefs that sponsored the restaurant in France. I met them at the airport - they arrived on the French Concord. It landed simultaneously with the British Concord. I took them to the France pavilion and they actually cooked a few things at the restaurant for me to taste. They are very famous French chefs. I won’t bore you all with more of my time there but, I loved working there. Sadly I haven’t been there since May 1990. This video has brought back wonderful memories, and showed me the new version of EPCOT. Again, thank you so very much. This is a wonderful video. 🥹♥️

I used to work in travel and visited about 7 times during the 80s but I guess it has changed a lot. You were very lucky to work there though I did get to fly on Concorde once🙂

Jen, I'm really enjoying the Orlando series. The EPCOT tour was amazing. I always thought it was just that giant ball thing. Orlando Disney is huge with so much to offer. Kind of makes our Anaheim Disneyland look rinky-dink by comparison. When we had annual passes we'd regularly stop in for a couple of hours just to shop. I'd definitely do a lot of damage at the UK shops at EPCOT. Reminded me of York. When I go to the UK I always plan on a couple nights in York on my way to Edinburgh just to shop. 😊🙄🇺🇸🇬🇧
It’s fish, chips and mushy peas. My family is split and out 50/50 on the mushy peas but I love them.

You should! You’ve got this! Start small take photos of things around you and build up and you will get there ❤️ I’m so sorry things are messed up they will get better but I get it, I struggle with anxiety and it’s hard but just identifying what you want to do is a step toward it. Give it a shot.

1st visited Epcot when I was 15 and asked to go back for my 21st so I could have a drink in the Rose and Crown. Had such a great laugh we did it again for both of my sisters.❤ from 🏴

Oh my goodness. I was last in Epcot so long ago! The most fun was watching my Mom (my Journal says, "Mom loved Epcot so much, i swear she wanted to bring it home & put it in the back yard!")

I love EPCOT. Years ago my grandparents lived in Florida and we would visit for Spring Break. I love the international pavilion!!

That was fun. I haven't been to Eptcot since 2008, it's a bit of hike from Australia. 😆 it's very good of you to respect people's privacy when filming. I would love to have a closer and slower look at what you are showing us, the flowers, red phone box, menus, food and the merch. Your food, shopping, the rides are fascinating; so different from over here. Can't wait to see what's coming up next. 😊

Great video Jen, Epcot is my favourite too but it all looks so different from when i went several time in the 80's from UK. I live in Spain now but when you do the UK again try and get to Stratford upon Avon ( Shakespear country) you will love the buildings. The area i was raised.

On my husbands device, honkhonk jen pretty interesting vid I've never been to America or Disney before looks enormous, so glad the harkles weren't there that day ,oh it would of been closed for a private tour for them wouldn't it, glad u took us into the shop too more of any tours you care to take love from England xx

The sportsman shop reminds me of Hampton Court Palace, on a much smaller scale. I was around 12 when I went to Epcot. I would love to see it again!

Having been to Disneyworld and tried the fish and chips at the UK pub I have to say the peas (whilst they are delicious) they aren’t proper mushy peas unless they have changed

I bought a musical snow globe for my daughter with the Winnie the Pooh characters many years ago and every Christmas she gets it out and she is now 29!!!

The crowd doesn’t look too bad considering it’s Spring Break. Next week is expected to be the worst for us. Fingers crossed 🤞🏼 the Spring Breakers go to Miami baby! Haha!

*@Gill:* When I need a dose of Scotland I watch the YT channel called 'Steve Marsh.' He does travel vlogs of the nooks & crannies. (I believe he recently moved to Montrose.) I always enjoy Edinburgh but my favorite is the North & Islands on Cal Mac. I live in Southern California but would give anything to see beautiful Scotland one more time. With Steve's channel I can dream. ❤
@@ginawiggles918 I moved up here in 2000, it’s very different from living in England. Where I am the beaches are deemed crowded if you see about six other people. Miles don’t matter, we all talk in how long it takes to get somewhere. I have not seen that Steve Marsh channel, will check that out, thanks.

Jen, have you been to the Henry Ford museum where there are some buildings from the UK? One of the buildings was not far from me. Apparently Henry Ford wanted quite a few more buildings from the Cotswolds including a church, but was given a firm no over that one. He was also after a line of cottages called Arlingham Row in a village called Bibury, but again he was told no which is lucky for the UK as they are a very pretty sight and attract lots of tourists to the area.
Yes I heard that too fortunately he couldn’t but the cottages because they are quintessentialy English and it would have been a shame if they had been lost

I went to "BamaHenge" last year and that's about the closest I've been to England😂 You should go see it one day, I loved it lol
Ok I keep putting this in the lives because I'm blonde and the bleach has gone to my head and didn't think to put it where it belongs. 🤦♀️ Someone said you should take a little stuffed goose with you on your trips to put in front of something fun and take pictures of it. You could let the little gosling pic out a cute one so she'll love it as well and gets into it. I've seen a guy online and I can't remember where that takes his son's dinosaur toys with him on business trips and he takes him to a hallmark or near the hallmark (my husband makes the fish he and our son catch look like they are big fish when they are tiny) in that area and puts them out for pictures and sends them so his son won't miss him as much. Just an idea for the new channel plus a little stuffed pink goose would be so cute. ☺️
As for the getting peoples faces in the shot. I think most people don't pay attention anymore as long as you're not an @ss about it or recording their kids but scanning around I'd think would be ok. If you find someone with a problem it is a Karen or a Chad.

The thing that looks delicious is called: éclair au chocolat (chocolate lightning), I prefer coffee lightning. The ham and cheese croissant doesn’t look very traditional. I don’t see the béchamel, the cheese has to be émmental or gruyere. The dessert with red fruits just looks like a panna cotta which is an Italian specialty. It’s fun to watch you from France, go visit "a little France"
BTW feels like -11 in colorado today. I was in Orlando a week ago and it was awesome ❤

LOL, I think you just described an HOA feature for ‘the landscaping you pay someone else to do’. I highly do NOT recommend living in an HOA community.
