First time for me hearing Makena's stellar voice. She gave me the collywobbles and the way Austin and her harmonized - I don't have words to say how good it was. Fab reaction and analysis as usual Jen.

I absolutely love this song and couldn't believe when Austin said he knew of S Club and grew up listening to their music. As someone who has been playing their songs since they were launched it is lovely to see how far simple pop songs have travelled.
Like you I can't wait to see them in Birmingham and I am currently working out scheduling with the tour management so may be able to get a full interview. It would be lovely if you could get the same thing or at least have the chance to meet them, just don't end up a puddle on the floor lol

This song was such a wonderful surprise! I went on her CZcams channel and listened to more. Makena has a pretty voice, from the lower notes to the whistle. What a great reaction!

Shout out to Sebastien Douyon doing a fantastic job (as always) on piano and production. I remember when this was recorded, Austin said that he and Sebi listened to her, looked at one another and said "We'd better up our game here." It is truly enchanting and I'm pleased to say that they will be collaborating again, though not sure in what form. Austin always has a thousand plans and plays his cards close to his chest, so who knows?
Glad to hear that you've got your tickets. I couldn't make transport work for the London show so am going to Birmingham Q&A, like @Richard Laundon. You know how much the band like you, so if you wanted an interview, they might well squeeze one in (they're on a pretty tight schedule,, as you will have seen).

I've never heard the original of this so I don't have a basis of comparison but I just love this duet. Ms. Hartlin has a gorgeous voice (she also has a video called "LA" you should watch) and Austin has a fantastic voice - together they're just magical.
