Great tutorial. However, I was disappointed that it isn't really embroidery, which is why I assume it was on my recommendation list (as an embroiderer). It does look very realistic and I am impressed.
How do you get it on all different group layers in photoshop? @ 10:11 is when I think I started to mess up. I'm not quite understanding why your doing the fill color. When I attempted to do the fill color and export it as psd file, it wouldn't show up as different section of the image. Is it because I'm using photoshop 2015 version? I Need some help
I dont know if you will see this or know the answer, but after making the patch, if you wanted to actually send off the design to someone who makes patches...what would you save the file as? I am in the process of making a patch but I don't know what file to save the artwork as to make it compatible to make an actual patch? Its ok you dont know, but I just wanted to ask😅
Couldn't get past 5:50 with getting the outline. I'm obviously doing it wrong But can't seem to get a new outside stroke. Fun tutorial though I learned some things along the way. Back to more simpler tutorials for me though until I can get a little more advanced.
Why can't I fix the first option of the action? I get a thick seam and then it becomes thin and does not finish wrapping the entire contour ... in the instructions it says that the second time it will do it well but it keeps failing ... has anyone been able to solve it?
Hi Chris, I installed the realistic embroidery pack. When I want to load the actions in adobe illustrator the programme tells me that the file is not compatible. What is the problem here? Thank you in advance!
I juat got this adobe illustrator on laptop. I found my husband's work logo to make him a shirt, seems I got pe500 embroidery machine. And I definitely do not want to buy anything. Just going to use for my kids sports teams and to make him a couple shirts. I just dont k kw how to save it to use it on computer to use it when I plug stuff into machine to make?

Great design and really, this acted as a nice lil mini illustrator tut. But insofar as as 'realistic embroidery" goes, it's quite a bit off. Passing enough for most though.
@@sciolifilms Oh man this was a while ago! But if I remember correctly, it was because the object I was doing the effect to was too small. So there was no room left to carry out the effect if that makes sense! Try making your object bigger before you start, maybe? Sorry, hope this helps!
Man! How can I edit vectors downloaded with a limited version from online stocks in a way that I avoid copyright infringement and hassles to not affect my online business?
Dude makes a 13 min video that doesn't even properly tell how to create an embroidery design... That small type you put at the bottom isnt going to print properly.. also your s needs to be changed so spacing is at least 4 mm in between or else machine gets jammed even the high end factory machines need at least 4mm spacing bro

It is a Photoshop action. It will not work in Illustrator.
