I didn't realize that those ramps actually carried people across the bridge !
After 2 months at looking at this ship and you barely have footage of it leaving the scene of the incident 🤔
The video shows movement but the ship is moving at 1 mph
Oh my God, the neighbors are suffering. They are suffering Terrible memories two months later, we gotta get them some help. I think if you’re alive, you shouldn’t have anything to complain about.
Good, perhaps the fools in charge will install some barriers for the next bridge.
better to build a bridge where any piers in the water are way outside the shipping channel in waters too shallow for a "ship" to hit.
There were barriers, but the government decided not to have barriers of sufficient size to stop a cargo ship.
Perhaps the fools won't build another bridge.
@@Manigo1743 Yes, a new bridge is being built.
It had nothing to do with the government deciding not to instsll barriers.. barriers were there but 50 years ago container ships were nowhere near the size of the dali...Do some homework before you just atart yacking@dalesuhre6522
Now they’re using tug boats….
Do you know why tugboats aren't used here often? Because they're not needed, it's a straight shot to the bay. 47 years and tens of thousands of ships passing safely brings complacency. This would not have happened had the crew been honest about the ships condition.
@@1972Rayhey relax man I was being sarcastic. I am actually very familiar with the bridge/port. Lived in the area my whole life. You’re right though, they don’t typically use tugboats but had the crew been more open about the issues they would’ve stayed docked until repairs were made or they could’ve requested tugboats boats to assist in case of failure. They used to use tugboats boats more often years ago but the practice was altered to today’s current procedure of having a port official assist in piloting the ships in and out. I agree with what you’re saying. Just relax.
As an Indian citizen, I request the US government to provide the crew with the basic needs like food, water, medicines, etc. The truth is, the crew is not getting their basic needs. Also, they aren't allowed to have contact with outside world. It's becoming a mental turmoil for the crew. It will surely affect the crew physically and psychologically.
They were prepared to sail across the damn ocean. Why wouldn't they have food, medicine, and water? That f$$king stupid. As far as contact with the world 🌎 they destroyed a billion dollar bridge 🌉 ya ought to drop em in downtown Baltimore, and then you would see some contact with the outside world. 😉
Now install a tunnel nix the bridge. it looks better without the bridge. Tunnel sill be safer and now they can have bigger ships in if needed no more hazards bigger shipping lane.
Probably part of the bigger plan
U do realize that tracker trailers aren't permitted to use tunnels so they need the bridge
They have to keep crew on the ship, for maintenance as well as maritime law, otherwise it's considered abandoned.
If they have to keep the crew on the ship, then the same authority should look after the crew's basic needs like food, water, medicines, etc. Also, they aren't allowed to have contact with outside world. It's becoming a mental turmoil for the crew.
@@mahalotarot They've been given devices and free wifi. They've been able to send and receive mail. They've been getting meals and care packages from various groups.
But they've been on the ship for nearly twice as long as the next leg of their trip would have been.
I bet the whole world gonna be tuned in to
Gov. Moore's press conference tomorrow. I
bet it's a duzy.
How do you refloat something that was never sunk.
Dali was ballasted down in the bow so as to be firmly grounded on the pier so until moving day.
Do u realize the bow ran around underwater
@courtneycurtis4991 the ship was afloat the whole time. It did not run aground, it hit a bridge pier. Big difference.
@@okiesailor5417 It's OBVIOUS IT HIT PIER IF U SAW ANY OF THE UNDERWEAR SONAR U WOULD HAVE KNOWN THE BOW WAS AGROUND IN THE MUD
How can a shipping channel be that shallow. The Dali drafts around 50 ft. I highly doubt that you saw any of the 'underwear' sonar.
The crew had to stay onboard all the time because their VISAS had expired. This happened when millions of illegals were crossing the Southern Border. The bureaucrats should be ashamed of themselves for causing this suffering. What an unwelcoming country for legitimate visitors that an accommodation could not be made for those people over a piece of paper. Heads should roll.
They got MasterCards, and it's all good now.
@@ManMountainMetals What are you saying? The US government should look after the crew's basic needs like food, water, medicines, etc. In reality, the crew is not getting their basic needs. Also, they aren't allowed to have contact with outside world. It's becoming a mental turmoil for the crew.
@@mahalotarot well, that will teach them not to take their busted a$$ ship and knock down bridges, seriously 😐
@mahalotarot If they were about to sail across the ocean blue wtf wouldn't they have food, water, and medicine? Your argument is nonsensical.
Your amazon packages are slowly on their way
Dang look at how many tugs this ship ) city/ owned by company/ , can muster and how slow it's going??? Holy cow? Who is gonna pay?
The 🌉 might have been deliberately crashed! Put 2+2 together...DU Comprehend... Baltimore Bridge Location ? USA 💬 What City Buildings R near it 💭? 20/05/2024
"VISA'S" ??? Is this a NEW thing you need to enter america 😏.... Better tell the southern border soon ?!?
The majority of undocumented people in the US are those who have overstayed their visas.

😎💁♂The Port is just as {(Open) or rather closed}🤦♂ they gambling, {not taking that extreme weight off bow}🤦♂🤷♂ hope it don't {{buckle, into the Main Port trench}}...
The beautocrats didnt cause this the crews visa expired while they had to sit in the middle of the river.
Governor loves the spotlight….
The Crew needs a VISA ? Now why ITH do they need a VIASA when millions crossing the southern border do?
They got Discovery cards, 2% cash back
The crew is under criminal investigation. And you're right about the southern border.
@@1972Ray If the crew is under criminal investigation, then the US government should meet the crews basic needs like food, water, medicines, etc. In reality, the crew is not getting their basic needs. Also, they aren't allowed to have contact with outside world. It's becoming a mental turmoil for the crew.
