@@MLSMoves Yeah. I live 3 hours away in Alabama but I managed to go to a game in 2017 when they were at Bobby-Dodd. And a couple of preseason games when they came to Birmingham to play the Birmingham Legion. But yeah ever since 2019 they haven't been worth watching or keeping up with really. This season I've been keeping up with Inter Miami more. It's sad. lol.
Thing is what you said about Atlanta was also right last season if Almada or Giakoumakis weren't firing, there wasn't a lot else there....and with Benteke, when he was in the Prem his biggest strength was in the air, it's partly why he flopped at Liverpool, they bought Benteke, a striker whos great in the air, and expect him to play with his feet, to get the best out of him you needed to ping crosses in as much as possible and Liverpool didn't play like that
Atlanta United have no identity like they did under Tata. We will see what happens with them. Benteke was good at Aston Villa where he had his best season in 12/13. He has been inconsistent ever since except with DC.
@MLSMoves with Atlanta Almada and Giakoumakis are their identity, as a team you're right I don't even think they know what they are, I think the best thing for them would be to cash in on Almada (he is a class player, there'd be demand for such a player in here in Europe) and build again as a team, they could even keep Giakoumakis and just not rely on him so heavily.... I agree the best of Benteke was at Villa, going to Liverpool was a mistake, he was at Crystal Palace after who actually played to his strengths, had decent wingers that'd put the ball in the air for him and he did a decent job for them
@MLSMoves they need someone to help the club to rediscover their identity, Marcelo Gallardo would be an excellent choice if he'd go there, I mean River Plate were a mess before Gallardo, not going to lie, you've got me thinking about available managers 🤣
Love the account! I've been supporting for a little while now. These recaps are much better to watch with highlights, though. Please bring them back if you're able to.
Frank De Boer was one Match away from from Atlanta hosting the MLS Cup again against Seattle. Also he won us the US Open Cup. The decline happened when he crashed in the Bubble Tournament without scoring a Goal. That's why he was Sacked. AJ from Atlanta United Fan TV said in a Rant over the Constant decline since 2020 and how we Die Hards are inflating the Value Numbers of the Club. We still have a Waiting list right now. De Boer one time called our fanbase spoiled which brought a lot of backlash, but his words continue to be right long after he left. Now we're the ones spoiling the Club.
@@MLSMoves Yeah. Maybe somehow you can sometime. I really hate CZcams and all the copyright nonsense involving other companies. It's Killed creativeness on CZcams really. All because of greed. It' sucks because your videos started out as great weekly highlight filled recaps like I'd like to see on tv... But now it's just dull looking at pictures. Not your fault or anything. I just want to see the highlights all tightly knit into one little show, and you can't get that for MLS anywhere else. I can look up each game individually, but I don't care to devote that much time and energy for that. lol.
What is your biggest takeaway from week 12 in MLS?
Atlanta United just keeps making me sad. Pineda needs to go.
Is ATL UTD your club? I feel for their fans. 2017/18 was special

I Agree
Good job 👍
Thank you Joey!
Benteke has been scoring like crazy this year! He never scored like this in Europe.
A big part of why Liverpool moved off of him. He was very good at Aston Villa.
@@MLSMoves He has been very underrated in MLS. Is he in the MVP conversation?
@@ElondonOSRS it’s looking good for him! 🇧🇪

It’s a little harder because of copyright issues

My biggest take away is that you do NOT want to score first against Miami.
Also, you skipped the shit show at the end in TFC v NYCFC game 👀👀
I didn’t mention the fight because there is still a lot we don’t know. Also inter Miami is SCARY even if they’re down 2-0
Can't use video anymore eh? I'm assuming it keeps getting blocked.
I can it’s just not as easy to use due to copyright. Maybe we will go back to it one day.

Pineda needs to be sacked
He’s terrible. They can do better
Dominating??? Didn't they just draw 0 - 0.
