I love Mama Noi she is always smiling and happy, no doubt she could handle running the show!
My favorite Som Tum I had in Bangkok was made by a sweet husband and wife street vendor right in the heart of Khlong Toei (March 2019)...The best I've ever had!!
Excellent video. Its really very lovely & very happy feeling for anyone when they see a beautiful mother daughter relationship and both having a great passion for cooking. Not many in the world are lucky to have this gift. Gods blessings to both of you and wishing you the very very best in life. My luvs and hugs to your baby girl too
I just made your Som Tum recipe for dinner tonight and it was amazing. We went to Thailand for Christmas this year and I ate Som Tum AND Mango Sticky Rice every day. Thank goodness you have both recipes just for me. I bought dried shrimp while I was there just for this recipe (We are stationed in Okinawa, Japan so I wasn't sure if we could find it here). Turns out the jar said dried shallots not dried shrimp. My eyes are old. It was still yummy with the dried shallots. Thank you so much!! P.S. I chopped the papaya the way you demonstrate and I still have all my fingers.
Your mom is so sweet and cute! Som Tam is the ultimate salad! Have a safe Christmas!
Attempting to make this beautiful Thai Papaya salad this weekend for a gathering- Had a taste of it in a Thai restn lately. Looks so pleasing. Thanks for sharing
I love your show. I've learned a lot from you, especially the garlic shrimp, papaya salad ect. Thank you, stay safe, happy holidays.

Hello. I'm Reina from Illinois, USA. I have been a big fan of thai salads and Asian recipes of all kinds for a few years.
you are always great and connective. Your Mum adds an extra dimension. Congrats on a great show. A fan
Hi, I did this Thai Papaya Salad twice for my Malaysian, Australian and Italian friends like the way you’ve demonstrated. Oooh....it was such a hit and everyone enjoyed it so much. I didn’t take the risk like your mum Noi julienning the green papaya with a knife. I simply and easily used the zig zag peeler which I bought from Phuket. It did wonders too. So Papaya Salad was possible to make at home too. Yes I am from Adelaide. Just writing here to say a very big THANKS to both of you for sharing.
I watched all ur videos thru out the night! I enjoyed every one of them! I showed them to my teenage girls 13 & 15! I want them to become familiar w Thai food & attempt to make some of ur beautiful recipes! I adore ur mom! More salads pleas🐸 I shared!
