I had the same problem, but wouldn’t happen all the time, but in general difficult engine start, changed the battery with a more powerful one, 80Ah with 740, it solved the problem.
Guys just buy one way valve and put it on fuel line hose , the problem is that when car stays longer time the fuel goes back to fuel reservoir and when you start there is no fuel pressure to start. Buy 2-3euro one way valve and put it to fuel hose, or buy new fuel pump in reservoir bc in fuel pump there is one way valve which failed.
had the same problem. All the power goes away when pressing the start button. A corroded ground cable was the problem. The one thar is attached to the frame under the battery Itself.
Put the glow plugs more than once ,also the swirl flaps make a difficult start being closed . It would help if you depress the clutch making the engine easier to turn.

problem solved. it is low pressure pump in the fuel tank. it leaks fuel back to the tank when car not used more than a day... i placed one way valve output of fuel tank hose,,,, also replacing fuel pump with a new one probably solves my problem...
If it is the low pressure pump, so, how this happened to drive normaly after ignition. I mean if the pump is the problem for this issue...after ignition it also could it be hard to drive possibly without power or lump mode

Aynı problemi yaşıyorum. Enson aktarma yapıp öyle zorla çalıştırdım. Gidip yeni bir akü taktım. 1 hafta içinde sorun devam etti ve bugün tekrardan aktarma yapıp öyle çalıştırdım. Üstelik akü de yeni. Şuan kutup başını söktüm kullanacağım zaman takıp öyle çalıştıracam. En azından akü bitmesin. Birşeyler hem marşı çalıştırmıyor hem aküyü durduğu yerde bitiriyor.
Arac calismadiginda akuden cekilen akimi kontrol edebilirsin, marsa basmadan önce de akunun voltajini kontrol et, 12.8 civari iyidir. Eger sorun elektrik kacagi degilse, bogaz kelebegini temizlettirrbilirsin, marsa basmadan start dugmesine bikac kez bas cek sonra marsa bas,,, eger o zaman mars aliyorsa sorun yakitla alakali olabilir.
@@ssscorpionnn35 akünün voltajını kontrol ettim araç ondada sıkıntı yok. Herhangi bir kaçak falan. Araç stop halindeyken. Çalıştırmadan önce marşa basmadan düğmeye basıyorum . 3 4 kere tekrar ediyorum ve o şekilde çalışıyor. Bazen tek marşdada çalıştığı oluyor. Yakıt sıkıntı olabilir dediğin gibi. Boğaz kelebeğini baktıracam. Sıkıntıyı çözüme kavuşturursam bilgilendireceğim buradan.

Sen once bi temizlet,,, kelebek alicak olursan da fiat marka bi aracla birebir ayni 159un kelebegi. Fiyat farki cok farki arada ama kelebekler ayni ve 159da da ariza vermeden duzgun calisiyor bilgin olsun.
Dont forget garages with trained technicians do exist. Lol Most problems, too small battery output. Others crank sensor Bad earth strap under hood, bonbet. Many possibilities just like any other car over 10 years old.
I have my alfa 159 1.9diesel 8v for 3 years now and i changed starter motor 3 times now, it keeps getting bad and takes long time to start if the engine is a bit warm, battery is new, starter is good, i don’t know how to fix the problem…
disheartenment18 Place a one way valve in to the fuel line in direction to the engine. The problem is the leaking pump inside your tank that allows the Diesel to flow back. The result is a empty fuel line. If you hear a loud pump noise while switching in the ignition its a clear sign. Also try to switch in the ignition 3 times on before starting.. if it helps its also a clear sign. With the one way valve the fuelline wont empty at all. If the valve helps, replace the pump also. ...the valve is a cheap trick to test it

Same problem here...please post after u solve this problem...also i see u have a excessive radiator error....that can be the water pump
it was battery. I changed it with agm start stop one. exide brand. now it always starts at first try.

@@adasbudrys7232 check fuel injection.. i had a faulty ( leaky injector ) too.. but that was only problem when cold.

Its exide brand agm type start stop battery. Its perfect battery. 70 ah is enough for agm battery.
