What other archery videos would you all like to see?
you should revisit arrow setups....are you still shooting high grain and high FOC arrows?
Josh Jones yes we sure are! Hunter still shoots 500 grain 24% foc. Trevor and Dads are right around 500 grains as well. Yeah we probably should revisit that, especially because that’s the popular thing right now lol
@@BrunkOutdoors exactly! Hunter has a great buck that he may not have recovered had he been shooting light arrows and mechanicals. I'm making the switch this year myself due to losing my largest buck to date.
@@BrunkOutdoors really enjoyed this one, covered so much. Looking forward to more. Any chance you'd be willing to discuss gear, maybe discuss budget options? Or some life lessons in archery you've learned over time?
Wow ok this has helped me a LOT like I just joined a youth archery league and I watched this video to help with my form and it has definitely help me hope it help other people to. Thank you
the tip about drawing back with a high elbow helped me a lot
Well its incorrect. You should push with your bow and and draw with the other. It's a fluid motion.
So I've been shooting for 20 years. Last year I started to shoot with my feet at a 90 degree angle and my shot placement wasn't great. I'm no Robin hood but I'm confident. Till i did my goofy stance. I changed it what you're doing and now I just shot the grouping I'm used to. Tight and patterned. Within 3" Thank you for this video! Don't know why I did this goofy stance just started happenin??
Thanks for the anchoring advice!
Just got a bow for Christmas. This is by far the best video I have watched! Thank you so much man🤙🏼🇺🇸
Hey man, great video. Thank you. This has helped me with my consistently at farther ranges. I practice instinctual archery which is a lot more difficult than I had anticipated but this has certainly helped.
Great video. Helped a ton.
Thanks for taking the time to make this video its very informative
Do a video for tips to helping to sight in a bow
From what I see on his channel, he does not. However Legendary Whitetails has a great video for sighting in your bow.
Rotate to 45degrees...Thanks man !! I'll keep that in my mind
Nice job. Very well explained. Thanks!
Excellent video!!
Great job explaining and good pointers.
Great video! Just what I was looking for. Appreciate the humility too, we all have things to work on. 👌👍
Slacknor - Michael Meyer glad I could help!!
Awesome video. Very helpful. Going to try your tips tomorrow at the range. Thanks!
Very helpful man; thanks for putting the time into this. My bow shoulder gets sore; prob from not using my back enough. Well done!
Good stuff man. Thanks!
Just bought my first bow a couple of weeks ago and anchoring has Ben driving me nuts not really knowing where to anchor
Great video! I am probably more like your dad but I am trying to perfect my form.
Ty man
Thank you
I'm using my dad and uncle's old bows so my draw length is not going to be correct I've just had to adapt to it.
Had to remove the peep sight and I actually am blind and one eye my right eye is good but for the comfort and form I've had to peep site
I wrecked my shoulder elbow high. I did have a prior (3yr past) injury, and shot WAY too many arrows. Not saying I know better, and appreciate the video. I hear everyone say different things :( in any case my local bowshop wizard instructed me Elbow down in response to shoulder pain. Guess I'll find out what happens as I go
Here’s a question. So I’ll be honest I’ve always wanted to bow hunt and I finally got a good bow that I can grow with... in terms of draw weight. Should I lower the weight? Yes I can pull it back but it’s not really all that pretty to do. How much should I turn it down?
Adrian Baker-Gratz start at whatever is comfortable for you
VIDEO IS DEAD ON. GOOD JOB
How about Pep Sight with fail eye sight 60 years old??
what is that small bag you're wearing on your chest? Seems handy!
What bow(s) are you using in this video?
You put your oddball fletching upward?
Always, keeps the vanes out of the stiffer bristles of the whisker biscuit rest
Somehow I feel like you should lower your draw weight a bit, I feel like your having to raise your bow a bit too high for the draw, maybe your just a little used to doing that by habit and your draw weight is fine. It just seems like there is a little compensation going on.
What if you are in a tree? None of this stance stuff would matter
Biggest thing is align your shoulders to the target. If you drew a line dissecting both shoulders it should point right at the animal
11: 45 кто тебе сказал, что локоть должен быть на уровне уха? Во-первых, это не всем подходит. Во-вторых, у тебя в этом положении лопатка не на месте, а значит спина не работает.
Great video!!!!
Thanks Todd!
