    The earlier games is a testament to how difficult pool is. It is so many variables that contribute to the execution of this sport. This makes me feel better when I dog balls. Pool is one of the hardest games ever.

      Exactly. Anyone can dog at any time. Even the best.

      Pool is not even close to one of the hardest games ever. If top pros can routinely run racks, then no it’s not the hardest ever.

    Danny and Billy trying to call this match (whole series) is hilarious. Those poor guys trying to explain the shots and strategies to the audience... "No, he's gotta hit that yellow ball next to the red ball. Not that yellow ball near the rail..... the other yellow ball near the pocket. And then he's gonna try and bounce into those yellow balls to hopefully get good on the red ball near the corner. Not THAT red ball..... the other one." Ahahaha...... I mean, who's idea was it anyways to use this freaking set of balls?! It doesn't add any value to the spectators, commentators, OR the players. But whatever. Still hilarious. They did a good job given the circumstances. I love Danny and Billy commenting on ANY match. Best in the biz.

      Not really a great match, both players were off a little. But I also hate the yellow and red balls, they should use the stripe and solid balls. Also makes it harder for the commentators to say what balls they should shoot next, when they can only say yellow or red ball.

      @@stevestewart6287 Sorry, but this game is played all over the world {not just Grandpa's basement}.Darren should've run these racks like a gangsta considering his "Black Ball" background. I feel the 5x10 "Bigfoot" table kicked both their buts in this case. I think the red and yellow just make it easier for the player to see and eliminate their group.

    • @stevestewart6287
      @stevestewart6287 Před 2 lety

      @@terryhand5972 Not sure what you mean with the grandpas basement stuff. I fully understand billiards is played all over the world, so try again Sparky.
      And my main point about the yellow and red balls is the announcers had a hard time explaining what ball the guy was going to shoot next, when all you can say is he is going to hit the yellow ball or the red ball.
      When you have stripes and solids, each ball has a number on it from 1 to 15, so the announcer can say he will shoot the 7 ball next, or the 12 ball. That makes it easier for the announcer calling the match to point out what ball they are going to shoot next.
      If you dont understand that, I can not help you because I'm thinking maybe your brain does not function very well. If there was no announcer calling the match, I would say the yellow and red balls are fine, and I would have no problem with them.
      Even though in America we never use the yellow and red balls, it is a foreign country thing, we only use the stripes and the solids, and all the balls have numbers on them.
      And btw, I have watched them both play a hundred times, and this was one of the worst matches they both have played. the size of the table had nothing to do with it, they were just both off their game that day. They are both world class players and a big table does not normally bother either one of them.

      @@stevestewart6287 You're right, does make it harder for the announcer but you and I have both seen the commentary be off when some players choose or shoot a shot they don't think is "The right shot". Didn't direct the "Grandpa's basement" at you, really wish we could have met in a bar or hall. I'm sure we could enjoy knockin' some balls around the table though. Sounds like you've seen a few tables in you're day, I'm 58 and live in the Portland Oregon area.

    This table I use to play, this colour of balls are interesting, but Alex failed a lot, don't deserve to be the winner.
