Better late than ever, but I managed to upload the raw file version of the video (it's the WINDOWS MEDIA file on the download options, not the watchable preview)
And now, remastered versions of selected videos from this album now available, some even in 60fps! (well, all of them except one)

Thanks king
this is absolutely brilliant, tysm!
this video is absolutely amazing man it captures everything vaporwave is without being too much into the whole "dude 80s lmao" culture that has been spawned by idiots imitating the style. very very good job
thanks man, i was mostly inspired by the videos made by the fb page "LSD Meme Emulator", and i wanted to do these kind of mixes earlier, but i wasn't aware of how to make an (almost genuine) vhs looking video. The problem of the pseudo 80s culture is that they try really hard, just putting some basic VHS filters in After Effects (or even in PowerDirector), modifying the colors a little and there you go. I was exposed for a very limited time to VHS, but surely i can create a better 80s atmosphere with my videos than the 60% of the "new 80s media"
@@damson498 well you certainly did a good job, everyone i show this video too comments on the editing and how fitting some clips are e.g. The missiles and explosions on A7.
@@damson498 1 thing tho, did you purposefully speed up some songs? if so why?
i took some creativity liberties like using the normal speed version instead of Asterite's and changed the speed of B2, B4 and B6 because i did like these in the pitch of the Asterite version but i didn't wanted to use that version for aesthetic purposes (the normal speed has somewhat of a lo-fi vibe).
@@damson498 ok nice, sounds reasonable
This feels like a VHS tape you'd find buried in your parents' attic that no one remembered was there.
Love how you even replicate the repetition of the tape. It's a wonderful touch.
You gotta check out the nmesh - dream sequins visual album, takes this concept way further and the clips are actually from the samples used, it's mindblowing. Probably the peak of vaporwave imo
This is art. This gives me the sensation of both warmth and melancholy that initially drew me to early Vaporwave as a genre. While I like newer stuff too, the new styles of Vaporwave often lack the self awareness that made these Eccojams so mysterious and eerie. This classic sound makes me feel relaxed and kinda depressed, in just the right way. I've always loved this album for that, and this video really brings that out. Thank you.
38:51 brings me nearly to tears. I don't understand how something so absurd can be so insanely beautiful.
It’s just like the first time I listened to Rumours by Fleetwood Mac. Spent the whole day listening to the album over and over, letting my favorite parts replay in my brain. Then not listening for it for a week, and what parts of the songs I remembered the most festered and deteriorated in my head, so that when I went back for another full listen what I remembered and what the album actually was ended up pretty different.
I can succesfully make my voice deeper for a day by humming or singing in tune with these songs.
44:41 Listening to this track at 11pm night, alone in my bedroom feels so melancholic that I can't even put it in words properly
This isn’t just a visual album, it’s a visual adventure of a masterpiece.
I think we can all agree Nobody Here is pretty badass
this is so horribly underrated.
Not really, real ones know it’s very renowned
well i mostly mean the video itself, paired with the music
@@nostromo6757 Thanks for elaborating
@ReCastDreamCenter in my opinion a lot of it is good
so are the red bumps on my balls. Women dont understand
This is important
it's a miracle that this video hasn't been taken down or at least muted for the lightning strikes song lol
I’m gonna make my own vhs of this lol
Spinning TV you’re gunna seriously confuse some historians in the future
I would like to see if you did something
This is phenomenal work. Both the video and Lopatin's surreal Eccojams themselves. It still surprises me how much this janky little collection of glitchy narcotic tunes makes me FEEL. But it just does. I dunno why.
I first discovered this when I was in the midst of a crippling depression and, for a while, all it did was make me feel sad. But since I've (mostly) recovered from that, this same album feels much more peaceful and uplifting now. It's a beautiful and mysterious collection of subtle clues and hints. The way the samples were cut, slowed, and spliced seems obvious to me now - since I've listened to it about a hundred times. But back when I first listened to it I barely even knew what vaporwave was, and I was completely mystified by what I was hearing. Some parts familiar; others completely insane and unrecognizable unless you really take the time to pick them apart.
In any case, this shit is totally unreal. I had no idea that you could make music this way. Like some sort of mad pop music collage art.
Beautiful. :)
Thank you for sharing your experience; it is a very similar story to how I came to know this music.
1:54-2:10 Probably one of my all time favorite moments in all of music
I can just see ESPRIT 空想 bobbing his head as this sample repeats in the background
I would be pissed if I was that lion, trying to get to some water but kept on being pushed back.
this is like a religious experience, i just got done listening to the whole thing and im amazed at how perfectly you've managed to capture the sound of the album visually.
fancy seeing you here
the channel name was pretty much my reaction to discovering this video
Accurate
This is stunning, puts one in a hypnotic trance, it asks for your whole being and you can't help but be swallowed whole into this digital wormhole where all time, colour, and energy stands still to acknowledge you.
The universe stopped its eternal expansion to allow you a moment of spreading through its infinite void to dance upon the stars and sift through the flicker of atoms passing through atoms. I've been stretched beyond my being, my fingertips hold tightly to the edge of space as it tears through infinity
This is absolutely art, you did Eccojams such justice with this music movie!
I’m totally going to find a way to port this to a vhs tape and watch it on my crt and get baked at 3am watching this
Wow we are the same

Very well put
i cry every time i listen to this
This is such a cool video... sitting up at 3 in the morning stoned off your face watching this is crazy fun.
life goals. seriously one of the most powerful albums I've ever found.
1:08 vaporwave was born
I never knew u would be here
Of course I would. It’s a Visual Album for Eccojams bruh. FUCKING ECCOJAMS!
technically it's 3:52
You sir, are a god.
Holy hot damn you did this gem of an album justice
Longing to be a 90s kid again.
Incredible. I'm planning on dubbing this to VHS soon.
Did you ever do it? What method did you use?
@@TheNucaKola I haven't but it's pretty simple. I was going to burn this onto DVD, then play it on a player with component out that won't cause issues ("hacked" wii works great) then plug the component out into of a component in on a VCR. Put in a blank tape and press record and play on the wii and let it run.
Chuck Person was probably the pinnacle of Oneohtrix Point Nevers musical career in my opinion. LOVE this so much. And great video you edited to go along to this album too!
Probably his most important fot sure. I prefer Replica
even when he's producing for the weeknd this will always be the peak of his music career
I just love Eccojams so much. I wish it had a bigger imprint on modern vaporwave, I find myself trying to listen to new classic vapor style albums and just wanting to come back to Eccojams instead. I can just turn off my brain and listen to eccojams, I’m just like “ooh that’s a nice sample I hope it repeats 300 more times”. Soemthing about the album is so pure, it knows it’s vaporwave, it knows its trying to replicate nostalgia but it puts a different spin on it that nobody has been able to fully replicate musically. Albeit ECCO:10 and Eccojams Vol.2 get very close at times, it’s still not the same as the original. I think this is the best version of Eccojams, the visuals are awesome and the stuttering and slowing down of the video along with the music is a really really nice touch. Time stamps and lyrics in the description too.
Around the 21st of January I had to be rushed to the hospital because my blood sugar was off the charts. It turns out I was okay but needed to change diet, but after I got out of the hospital it was around 10 at night. The sky was snowing and I remember just waiting for my dad to come get me as silence played. I felt like despite being okay, that this was the end of my life. 5 months later with healthier eating habits I'm doing okay, however I still think about that night sometimes. The silence of the outside world while I waited to go home...
This video needs more recognition
"The Door" always gets me right
This is exactly what i had in my head when i was listening to the album
Oh yeah...that hits the spot.
Having the whole tape rewind at the end was so clever, because that’s exactly how I felt when I heard the ending for the first time. It made me reflect on everything I heard in the album up until that point, I almost cried seeing all the clips playback in front of me again. It made me nostalgic for a time that wasn’t even an hour ago.
Didja?
Outstanding work. The clip choice during Horsemen was spot-on.
Makoto Yuki?
@@sashkothesparkleit really is Makoto Yuki from Persona 3 (known as Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3 in the west)!
A7's visuals are super freaky
I wanted to represent in the visuals the most extended fear in the 80's, the Cold War. Quoting a comment on the first Blue Monday video (not the '88 version or the TOTP performance), this song is the Cold War. And "The Day After" needs no explanation after all
Well, I must say, you managed to nail the phantasmagorical paranoia and hysteria of war and nuclear retaliation that existed during the 80's in visual form. Props to that where given!
@@damson498 I KNEW that vid was from the Blue Monday vid... New Order should get some vaporwave for sure. I think I saw that exact comment as well ahaha
20:50 this is what I mean when I talk about "celestial music".
this is literally my drug at this point, I'm relistening non-stop
on the same day
I had this exact idea back in 2016. God bless you for making this
I can't believe you found my comment on the original Too Little Too Late video. I come back to this visual album often, and it continues to be a favorite of mine. Thanks man.
This is keeping me alive
I love how the description changes every time I come to enjoy some visual eccojams
I genuinely cannot find the words to tell you how much I love this. This video contextualises Vaporwave into a format people can truly appreciate. Again, just at a total loss. I watch this at least once a week. I love you for making this ❤️
This plays in the background of my mind
I will put this on VHS and hide copies of this in charity stores.
Maybe one day it will appear on LGR Thrifts
Thank you for making this. Pure euphoria.
the ending is absolutely amazing chills every time
Chains III brings me to tears, like i’m accepting death
I love how in Never Been Easy and Lightning strike you used the original music video looped and synced at the exact times. This whole video really captures the essence of the project.

this is incredible man. thank you for sharing. it's a shame that OPN released this tape and then seemed to move on from the alias rather quickly, but he probably felt that he said/did all he wanted to for the project. sorry for rambling, and again thank you for sharing.
Yeah, although I don't particularly care about OPN's carreer at this moment (given he made a song with atrocious reggaeton singer Rosalia), I'm glad he went to be on a higher profile on the music scene.

A7 is terrifying. The song and visuals perfectly encapulate the apocalyptic feel of cold war tensions.
Awesome video editing according to original album from OPN.
Amazing!!! A8 is the perfect example of the vaporwave critic to the mainstream... B1 with Kate Bush hug scene touched me so deeply... B2 is so hard and distorted. Fits perfectly the Ecco Jams album.
Thank you for making this amazing Visual Album experience. My favorite part has to be A3 with the Video Girl AI Footage. It's just absolutely beautiful & perfect.
