Michael Owen & Hugo Palmer | A New Era at Manor House Stables

- Manor House Stables is a successful training yard in Malpas, Cheshire and owned by former Ballon d'Or-winning footballer, Michael Owen. After parting company with the previous resident trainer, Tom Dascombe in December, Owen recently appointed a successor in the form of Classic-winning trainer, Hugo Palmer, who has relocated from Newmarket.
Despite the recent change of personnel, the stable is hoping to put together a handy team of horses (albeit smaller than previous years, due to the changeover) for the upcoming Chester May Festival (which runs 4-6 May, next week), a local meeting that the yard has always supported well.

yes true one of the finest English players of all time .
All the very best for the future Tom Dascombe , you didn't deserve to be treated like that.
Michael Owen very lucky to have Hugo Palmer and good luck to Everyone at Manor House
Cual es su direction and owner working
"Michael Owens horse is off and running..... oh no its gone again"
Played for Liverpool then went to man utd what a k unt
It’s his life he can do as he pleases
My god I wouldn't leave my cat with Hugo Palmer he's the jonjo O'Neil of the flat he ruins every horse he gets his hands on.
Sir please I need a job in horse
A lovely set up.....and created one good horse....Palmer not all that as a trainer....
I think Dascombe did incredibly well with what he had to work with. Something about Owen that is just not likeable.
what he did was despicable....hope it goes tits up for him
Agree about Owen but Dascombe only did just ok at best
Think there's something about all 3 that isn't likeable having met 2 of them that view was upheld.
Yeah he didn't do it on the big stage for his country (Owen that is) just cared about the pay check. Greedy bustard
Owen hasn’t had a good one since brown panther.
Just an opinion but this doesn’t look a fit to me
Don't ever work there. Angie is a bully and quite frankly should be fired
Owen treated his last trainer appallingly.
He backed him with funds breeding operation and top quality staff and he had to many bought in flops,so on reflection of results he was more than patient.
@@markymark558 It is no coincidence that Dascombe(trainer)Kingscote(stable jockey)and Andrew Black owner and who set up the stable in partnership with Owen have all left Black took away all his horses bar one.He is not the cheeky chappy some might think he is and he doesn't spend his millions buying pricey horses for the yard either!!
