    I mean honestly when it comes to things like Glock or Sig their almost like PC computers these days or an AR as in there are so many different upgrades and configurations you can go with its not a bad idea to buy each of the individual parts you want and put your gun together that way. I just wonder how much more expensive you come out going this route?

      The P10c is awesome. I've been carrying one for the last few months. If you buy make sure it does not have an ambi mag release. That would make it an early model and they had yet to work out the kinks (stiff mag release and stiff slide release). Honestly, I would guess that they pulled all of those early models anyway. The P10c is smooth as butter and has an excellent trigger along with excellent fit and finish.

    @DIYDad1 Pƙed 4 lety +6

    Wow very cool video, I just found your channel recommended to me on CZcams how awesome. I don’t think I’ve ever seen someone build a p320 from parr’s this is a really cool idea. I love how modular these are, it’s like an AR almost. Everyone builds custom glocks so it’s cool to see a sig build 😁. The only serialized part is the fcu I’ll have to see if I can find one of those on its own. Idk if this route will save any money but definitely cool that you can pick and choose what you want. Most local stores around here just carry a very limited stock and it’s always the standard medium frame which I don’t really like. The x carry frame is the best in my hands.

  • @ChrisTopheRaz
    @ChrisTopheRaz Pƙed 3 lety +1

    Ok I see a lot of questions about this so here is my knowledge based on contacting a number of different sources about building these including Sig. The piece that is actually considered the “gun,” and holds the actual serial number is the FCU (fire control unit). That’s the gun....the rest, are modular kit variations and that’s a whole different topic. Something that you’ll have to understand though is that you cannot just go onto sigsauer‘s website and buy the FCU directly from Sigg. You have to find it at a license dealership and you must pick it up directly from that dealership in person while following the standard application process like with any other fully assembled gun. Once you have the FCU in your possession, then you can buy either an entire kit for the rest of the gun, or you can buy it piece by piece from third-party manufacturers, or directly from Sigs website. Sig does have a good selection of modules (uppers, lowers, mags, grip plates, etc.), and you can purchase those directly from sigsauer. Their website actually has a custom builder where you can see exactly what you’re building as you’re adding parts on the site. Good luck finding an FCU or any of the custom works pieces for that matter. They are almost non existent right now which sucks but hopefully they will release more to the dealerships soon.

      @ChrisTopheRaz Pƙed 3 lety +1

      @@insane4deadpool468 If you are looking to build one from the FCU, then I would search the Sig site for local sig dealers. That you can find in the P320 section if you click on any one of the 320 pistols. Put in your area code and it will find those dealerships. Call them and ask them if they have any FCUs. If not, ask them if they can order it from sig for you. I got my P320 AXG classic recently by doing that and it worked!

I own a p320 but always wanted something alittle smaller like the p365 and now that they are making the grip modules interchangeable i wont have to buy a p365. • @nitsud7141
      @nitsud7141 Pƙed 4 lety +3

      If you're building it to completely stock it's just as much, might as well just buy one. If you know you're going with a custom barrel and slide or whatever it will be cheaper to build and you won't have leftover parts. I always build as I know I'll just be replacing half the parts of a stock gun anyhow so why buy.

    • @michaelearlgrey
      @michaelearlgrey Pƙed 4 lety

      At least as much. That's why the P320 mods will never catch on. You can spend 100 bucks more and get the whole gun.

    Mine is in a medium compact grip mod. Been thinking about trying the small. While the medium fits my hand fine, I feel like I may have pinched nerve issues that compromise my grip in my support jeans hand.

    Looks clean man. I like that slide! U didn't know about the Sig carbine kit for the pistol FCU. Thanks for the info. It would be great to have the same trigger pull and consistency on both a long gun and handgun. Sig is killin' it with their chassis system. I'm a 320 fanboy too, don't feel bad.👍

    • @nitsud7141
      @nitsud7141 Pƙed 4 lety +1

      buy a stripped FCU on gunbroker and actually build the gun. You can occasionally find an assembled FCU on gunbroker for around $280, or get a stripped one for $20. the FCU parts kits are hard to find right now and no one website seems to have all of the parts in stock, but you can find each piece at different sites right now. I think I had to order from 4 different sites to get all of the pins and springs and such for my current build.

    • @Watch4Me
      @Watch4Me Pƙed 4 lety +2

      @@nitsud7141 I also had to order from at least 4 different sites. It is a fun process though. Chances are you will forget a part of have a hard to find part (looking at you, trigger stop pin). Sig has an interactive parts shopper where you can at least get actual parts numbers to search for. It is definitely doable. I have another stripped FCU waiting to be built.

    Awesome, great job on the new gun. Always wanted to try a Sig. That's great that you don't need tools to put it together. Is it a lot more inexpensive buying it piece by piece, than buying the whole gun??

    Sell the parts that are collecting dust. I hate the fact if you want a different size grip frame you have to buy a whole different frame. With the Beretta APX modular handgun the grip frames come with 3 backstraps small medium and large.
