Thank you!! 😊 Yes, if you don't mind that it's always open then you can just cut it because sweatshirt material doesn't really fray. Just don't quite cut as much because it will stretch making it more open on the back than if you had a zipper.
I have never felt such a need to immediately make something, i was kinda going yeh sure when it was still connected in the neck and when you cut through i was kinda wtf is going to happen now, but that looks soo good on! Sew some tshirt material on over the zipper ends and no scratchy neck and this is going to be soo cool! Too bad summer is over 😅

This is pretty neat. Not sure about the whole back being opened but it sure a great to update the look on some plain jane sweat suits pieces. You just made me think about just cutting some sweat pants into shorts, I want a baggy shape pair. It had not dawn on me. This maybe my first thrift flip. Now watch I can not find the sweatpants I need for this. LOL I am really feeling excited. Thanks for sharing and blessing to you and all in the days to come.
