Thank you Ryan for representing racers so well. You showed how a solid racer handles difficulty - thank you for your honesty and yes, toughness. You remind me of the toughness that used to rule in racing, and in NASCAR before the “young guns” references in the early 2000’s started chipping away at our hero drivers in NASCAR. Glad to see you back at it, hope you heal quickly.

Preece seems like a solid dude. I appreciate his straight forward and honest answers. No Sunocco this or I love NASCAR safety that and he didn't sip a beverage.
He wasn't 100% honest when he said the drivers take go care and look after one another. Many times the second place driver ends in winning after th we "take care" of the leader.

Im so glad he mentions dirt racing and all racers across any division. Either way, its all motorsports, racing. Going fast, in a bunch of different ways. Gotta respect it no matter the vehicle.

I mean this wreck was almost identical to Ricky Rudd crash in 84 Busch Clash and it also swelled his eyes and he taped them open! He was in serious rolls as well and he didn't have near the safety equipment. Something to be said about that spinning or rolls. Glad your ok Ryan! Remember Ricky Rudd won next race at Richmond still body sore as hell! Go get em Ryan! Keep digging!

Thank god he was ok that was a serious crash and thanks to nascar and everyone involved in making the cars safe. That’s a experience he will never forget. Like he said that’s his job and things like that is part of the job. It would be hard to get back in the car in under week after serious crash like that.

he obviously had a High negative G roll and all the blood gets forced into the head. My negative g flips the swelling was so much worse. My head was like 3x the normal size for 4 days. With the red eyes from busted blood vessels. It’s simply caused by the negative Gs forcing the blood into the head.
Feel bad for Pockrass, but it's getting close to retirement for him.
