I've seen Sam on stage before (somewhere in the bay area - TW?) and he did a song at a friend's wedding back in 2003. I ran across a CD of theirs in the unpacking of allllll of my music - Halfway Home - it was in heavy rotation in the truck (where my only cd player was). It's so nice to rediscover you both on youtube!
What an amazing performance. Always a fave. That one line---And the moon rose over an open field, I remember the first time that i heard this song was on a Greyhound from Pittsburgh. Popped in in my walkman as we were going through the country. Just as that line came, I looked out the window at the moon coming up over a vast meadow. Goosebumps even now, all these years later.

We just saw them last evening in Sebastopol. They were amazing.
