- Hot off the heels of the hugely successful "Submit That Talk" from last year's konferense, I'm planning to talk about tried and tested top tips for squeezing super salient subject matter into a lightning talk. Some of what I'll say will apply to any talk of any length, but I'll also share succinct secrets and cheat codes that'll boost your presentation skills to next level linguistic delivery in short, super fun format.

Derek became intrigued by technology at the tender age of six, when he ruined his father's laptop by moving its OS to floppy disc (apparently, there wasn't a way to restore it). Years later, he decided to learn how to use technology "properly", forging a career that took him from IT Support, through Project Management to Agile Delivery. He is a dreamer and a believer, and is totally fascinated by the interplay between people, technology and ways of working that make achieving the impossible possible.
