That’s because killing likely isn’t the worst thing he’s done. I used to go to church with a lot of old war veterans and at a memorial service one of them, very bitterly, flat out told the crowd “If you ever knew about the things we did, how we really were, you’d never talk to us ever again”, and I never forgot it. Every single time I’d ever seen this guy he had an amazing attitude, was very upbeat and friendly, but this time… His face was nothing but frustrated pain, you could just see how angry he was not just with himself and the things he had done, but with how nobody would ever really get it, nobody but other vets.

She can’t overtly say the truth in today’s society, so she’ll play clips for them from the mouths of those who can tell them the truth. She uses clips of videos from things that I listen to all the time, including Tom Chambers, Gary A. Linderer, Nick Brockhausen, etc. The Tom Chambers clips are usually short and right to the point on issues that they feel strongly about today, and it works. I can’t tell you how many eyes she’s opened to the real world by showing them these wise words.

Tom Chambers, I have the most respect for you and all you and your team did in combat. I personally slept with a LRRP team in my tent during 1968. They were the bravest of the brave people I have ever know. One night in May of 68 they were trapped on an old LZ, LZ Stella, in the A Shau Valley. They were completely surround by NVA forces and I was on the radio with them. You could hear the fire fight and the NVA clanging bamboo together trying to unnerve them. The next morning I woke up and they were in the tent sleeping. I spent 6 months with the 1st Air Cavalry Division Camp Evans 1968. I spent one year with the lst Engineer Battalion 1st Infantry Division down south La Khe. I was on the Tunnel Rat team working for S-2 and aslo Recon Team. Enjoyed the work and still in contact with 2 Tunnel Rat team members. Garry Owen to you Tom.

What makes you think that somehow, America going into Vietnam and killing foreigners somehow had an impact on your freedoms and rights?
Anyone in the world knows full well that the Vietnamese were no threat whatsoever to your life and wellbeing.
So how is it that on a huge mass scale, you guys regurgitate the same "thanks for fighting for our freedom and way of life"?
I don't even think any of you question what you say or why you say it.
Nobody else in the world even thought the U.S should have been in Vietnam. Only Americans

This same guy in another interview said that during his time in Vietnam he used an M1, an M14 and an M16, he said that of the 3 the M1 was his favorite, he cited how quick they are to reload as the reason for that, there's no mag to remove and with the bolt locked to the rear all you have to do is stuff another 8 round clip in it and you're ready to go.
I've owned M1's and M14's and for years when I used to tell people that even though the M1 only has 8 rounds compared to the 20 round mag in an M14 they at least even out because of how fast you can reload an M1 they'd look at me like I was crazy.

He has killed more than he wants to think about 😔 I hope this man is at true peace. These warriors had no choice but to do what they had to do.
He holds his countenance and himself so well to be able to explain this for all of us to know what he had to deal with. God knows what this soldier has truly seen and truly feels.
Man, this hits pretty deep with how he explains it all.

And also saying that he shot a guy once who was prone with an m14 and it cut him in half? - That's an absolute lie. Unless he put 100 rounds into that guy he's not cutting him in half at the waist with an m14. Every time i watch one of these videos on vet's stories there's always something that doesnt add up or is impossible.

@@nuck- Just saying but I've personally watched a deer get blown nearly in half by that same bullet. Hit in the spine so basically nothing was holding the rest together, exactly how he described here. Also, he never claimed to literally blow the man in half, just most of the way.

Never really been keen on hearing anyone talk about killing another person. I confess to following the Mob stories of Michael Franzese and Sammy Gravano this past year. They didn't take killing lightly.
This gentleman comes across as earnest, articulate, and matter-of-fact in relating his experiences. It seems hard to imagine that he's suffered bad dreams or PTSD from his experiences, but you can't really tell. They were doing their job, and they knew the enemy was doing the same.
Don't know why I clicked on this video. I'm glad the closest he ever came to boasting was to say, "I ruined his day." Thankfully, no one "ruined HIS day."
