Love your interviews mate. Solid work always. Brian said Silverhawks which was music to my ears. And his transparency as to the state of the industry and the overall slowdown in collector buying is always appreciated. Say what you will about his prices being on the high side and is QC always being a bit of a mixed bag, but Brian is definitely one of the more transparent figure producers in the business. And....TIGERSHARKS!!!!
I would love it if they would re-release the retro LJN line from the 80's. I mean if Playmates and Hasbro can do it, with TMNT and Kenner Ghostbusters, so can they. Or are the original molds gone now?

At least you didn't bring up how you want "naked thundercat", figures this time. The the Q/A was pretty soft ball which we all expect. Information from what I picked up on was lair is 650 which is great, kickstarter will be the way we get this I imagine berbils will be a stretch goal. They had to do these repaints to try to make some money back they loss which honestly is a decent idea but why not just simply put up every prototype possible on your website and whoever gets the most preorders you produce next or at least let us decide on one or two figures each wave..... Good job on chilla though. Back to the info we will be getting every Lunatak and amok/luna will basically be a mandora and Eelectro-Charger like combo guessing wave 10.5. Key figures I like to see are Beserkers,Safari joe,Demolisher,Shadow Master,Driller,pryon and a beefed up mummra theres been a few episodes where the "ancient spirits", gave him more power and he looks amazing.
I'd like to know why they don't cap sales to prevent retail overstock. S7 probably has a good idea of how many collectors there are for specific lines, it would be wise to not let their major buyers keep screwing themselves with overstock. It cheapens the line, and now we're seeing items canceled because of it.
A lot of new and unexpected information 😮 great interview 😊 Personally, I have indeed slow down my collecting of Super7 figures, even though I like the properties they're doing. Articulation is something that is throwing these figures back, especially since I have seen a lot of evolving in the sculpture but not in the articulation, even so they seem even more limited than before sometimes, that has to be addressed and improved. That's the most important reason I could not justify getting silverhawks which is a franchise that I love. The other reasons are personal of course but it's lack of space after so many figures and inflation but ok and I don't think there's nothing that can be done about it. But seriously they really need to get on fixing their articulation on their figures because it's a major drawback we get beautiful renders but until we have it in hand we have no certainty is that is going to able to move, I'm sorry to be blunt but it needs to be said
I really want to ask Brian whether he is open to making upgrade parts for the Thundertank. For example, we learn that the canon in the Thundertank can be removed from the bottom. Would Super7 be willing to make extra seats to be placed in that area so that all the team members can sit inside the tank? Just a thought.
Just do a very small shipping charge that won’t change or free shipping. Add leds to all vehicles and play set’s. Your boxes and figures are amazing but are missing just a tad bit of articulation they are cats 🐈. I think in my humble opinion this could be one of the best toy lines out there. It just need’s more tlc. LEDs is the way to go. If the thundertank or electro charger had leds I guarantee you could not find one.
This was addressed a while back in one of the very first interviews we did. They don’t like the look of it on the final figure as it messes with the easthetic. So we won’t be seeing that at all with their lines.
I listen this interview and seen some reviews on super7's products and sheer multitude of issue from pricing, splodge painting, to just really bad molding, i have to ask a few things firstly if the factory is messing up so badly why not change factorys? Secondly and this one is for you as the interviewer why didnt you hammer him on some of these issues? Im just a gandam fanboy and bandai has done mess up here and there but this seems to be a regular occurrence with super7 figures they have a lot of productions issue but no one hammers brian on these issues especially for the price tag they request from the product.
I don’t hammer on that because S7 is already aware of all issues, valid or not. When I’ve had a faulty figure, I did what anybody else would do and reached out to Rudy from customer care and it was handled wonderfully. We touched on this in the past too - if anyone has any issues they are invited to contact Rudy. About factories, it has been stated before that they have changed some and addressed their concerns. No need for me to hammer them about things they deal with. So I focus on all the fun things instead. Hope that answers why my interviews are more upbeat?
what's the use and somebody else is going to have to make a thunder tank that will fit in this place set. So glad I didn't buy the super seven tank got all the cartoon figures so far no vehicle so happy I didn't pay. money for the thunder
