How much does this cost? I have a friend who has a new house and I would like to recommend this to his, but at the same time not like go beyond his budget... Having said that he is willing to spend a good amount for something basically immortal!
I cant really answer this question easily because it depends on too many factors. My whole house is furnished with furniture like this and i haven’t had the time to calculate nett costs. I’ve a few more sections of my house to build for, but I’m sitting on it till I have the time. Nice to know that you liked it.
I hope you will do a video about real cabinets with door hinges soon. Extrusions are way more flexible than System32, but incompatible with common hardware 😫.
One tip: If you have not done already, try skipping the thread cutter. In my experience, self tapping screws work really fine and don't cause any debris. Even regular machine screws can form their own thread.
Yep, there’s a video under edits now. Wood way. Used common hardware. Old project. Video not done cos been prioritizing many others ahead of it due to “common-ness”. My aim is to demonstrate creativity, uniqueness and also to minimize wood framing. Appreciate your time to watch. There’s alot more to come.
How come you have an iPad and no apple pencil? Have tried shapr3d with mouse and keyboard but I prefer the pencil....
I have the pencil. Started shapr3d with the pencil. But i prefer the desktop and mac with the mouse cos i draw in mass daily.

I really like your idea to use dowels. Just one question: how much play is there? Did you choose dowels that are very tight or more loosely? Because you also have to install them in a perfect line.
Your channel definetely inspired me how to make extrusion look nice. Your solutions are very creative.
Dowels is just one of the many methods i use. If you study my other videos, you will see many other methods of paneling extrusions. I also have a huge backlog of filmed footage to edit for 2024, which will show even more methods of paneling.
For dowels, play is little to none. When you do it, dont go for a perfectly straight line. Inconsistency will remove your play. Stay for my 2024 videos cos there are more methods. At least 100 videos is my goal for 2024. Hope to have you around all the way. 😀

Simply Great. Had a nice laugh when the robot vacuum swooshed out. Of course, the TAC would have a robot vacuum!! BTW - What is your source for the Acrylic bottom panels? Did you cut the corner notches yourself?
Glad you enjoyed. My designs were all off the floor for a robot to go under. Acrylic is directly from factory. Its already cut at the factory.

All factories do. They use laser machines. Mine is in China. Communicating effectively with the factory is the key ingredient here.

I saw that email. I know how to do that but i just do not know how to reply to the proposal. The tight schedule for 2024 has already been planned and deviating without a fee is not possible. Cos the backlog of contents and the current 6 build projects and the customers’ orders on hand already had us spread out too thin on time. Certain projects have to be put on hold already due to that.
