- Hello everyone! I’m Ryusei.
Today I made Teriyaki chicken again. But I don’t use Sake and Mirin. Although I thought these ingredients are essential for teriyaki sauce, my viewer gave me a considering chance to make teriyaki without them and I used ginger ale as a substitute.
Thank you so much!
I hope you enjoy Teriyaki chicken everywhere🌏

My mother used lemon-lime soda (Sprite or 7-Up) in meat marinades, so I was happy to see you use ginger ale for teriyaki. It reminded me of her cooking.
Sounds great! I’m also happy listening a heartfelt story. Thanks always😊
Your videos have fueled my obsession with teriyaki
Thank you for watching. I thought sake and mirin were essential for teriyaki until I made this recipe.
We just made this today, ginger ale is a very good substitute and it tasted amazing. Thank you for this recipe, I am very glad this channel appeared on my CZcams feed.

Hi Ryusei, I watch all your video's with much pleasure. I'm a videographer myself. If I may give you a tip: try to get closer to a microphone for the shots where you talk to the camera. The sound will improve greatly. Thanks for your recipes. I love them.
Hi! Thank you for watching all videos. Moreover you gave me advice. I’ll definitely try. I’d like to improve my videos more. Thanks a lot!!
Teriyaki + rice is probably my favorite way to eat chicken. It's freaking delicious. I usually make a good amount of teriyaki and keep in my fridge for a few days. It's amazing. Never tried it with ginger ale, though. Looks like an interesting combination. Thank you, mate!
I like these too and often make teriyaki. Actually I had never tried when my viewer told me that they didn’t get sake or mirin. So I tried looking for something to make teriyaki as a substitute. It’s also good! Thank you for watching and your comment😊
I never thought to try cooking teriyaki chicken with ginger ale. It looks very delicious! The next time I cook teriyaki chicken, I will try it. Domo arigato Ryusei-san!

@Kyodokan - Thank you for the video recipe. Helpful hint to those who will try this frying technique. I've wrapped bricks in tinfoil whilst making panini sandwiches; I believe doing the same would work well on this too
Thank you for watching and your comment. I’m very glad my video is helpful for you and I’m sure the way also works well.
Thank you.
You’re welcome! Thank you for watching too.
