In what world would he show her that and then let her run all distraught and hysterical outside. Anyone could ask her what's up and she could just break down and tell them everything, Phil took a massive risk there.

@@david.l8698 pal it it's completely shit the storyline's aren't believable and the characters have no depth to them, Compare it to EastEnders they are showing on the Drama channel from the 90s and it's night and day tbh, Even Phil Mitchell these days just walks about shouting his mouth off, It's all become too fast paced and to many scenes that are about a minute long, Instead of longer scenes with more dialogue that takes time and effort, But just my opinion

I feel like this isn't definite. But Phil isnt lying either, he's assumed the truth since the evidence is ambiguous but suggestive that Vincent is dead. Similar to how Keanu was "shot dead" in the clip on New Year. When really it was a trick. Not that I think this is a trick. But I think the only play EE have is if Vincent in his "final moments", those guys pointing the gun lowered it after he essentially accepted death. The video is them afterwards saying "we're still gonna show you what happens to people who cross Maguire". The gun shot skimmed his body in attempt to scare him, before telling him to run and never show his face again.

Phil is right, it could affect Denise's boy if her sister goes shooting her mouth off saying who she is because she's all gob and if these guys find a loose end, says she's Vincent's wife - Kim's in danger, and if they don't do anything at first and watch her, they trace Kim back to the square, then everyone in Patrick's house is in danger and if they knew Phil, then potentially his family would be in danger but the thing is, although Denise might want to stop Kim now, the only thing that would stop Kim is seeing this footage because who rarely stops what they are doing just because they are told to? They either give the other person grief telling them they're not being told what to do or pretend to be alright being dictated to and sneak out anyway, Denise is not protecting her by giving her the lecture or the third degree, showing Kim IS THE ONLY way. You have to, then, after, get real with them, something like do you care about your life, your kids lives, in that case the shock factor will work. All mothers will care about their kids lives more so than they're own. You got to get real with people to stop them from doing things that land them in the shit, screaming and lecturing them does nothing long term

@hamza 3p The reason you can't see the death is because the actor wasn't available, so they had to show Denise's reaction so people could gather what had happened without actually seeing it, although that wasn't enough for y'all clearly! If it wasn't Vincent then why was Denise screaming?
This is like when Linda and Martin shot Keanu. There's still a chance Vincent is actually alive

No he’s definitely dead watch the recent episode where a guy is living with a new identity using vinces name and also has his wallet he basically explains he saw 3 people come into the site where he used to work as a security guard and only 2 came back out and he found vinces wallet
Apparently a character from Hollyoaks is turning up to Walford and the actor who plays Vincent is in Hollyoaks, quite a coincidence

Phil told aiden to scare him off
No chance he is dead. The night he was kidnapped Phil said just scare him don't hurt him. I don't even think Maguire had any part of it as he had already left and that cop was on Phil's payroll that night not Aidan's. More than likely Phil simply doesn't want Vincent back on the scene as he hated him. However it wouldn't surprise me if he comes back with Keanu where they both jointly look to get revenge on him. I also reckon it's Vincent who Liam owes money to.

@@Blitz-dm3kv He wasn't a fake cop. He was a real and corrupt one who kidnapped Vincent. He was the same one who Ciara Maguire dealt with at New Years Eve with the heist. He called the cops off as he was working with her brother Ray Kelly who was Mel's fiance. Phil called Aidan for the help yet it was Phil who was running the show. I still say there is a twist ahead. Although I do doubt Aidan Maguire will return as the actor who plays him probably has no interest in reprising the role.

I agree, no one actually saw the video, all we heard was a gunshot, this new "Vincent" bloke said he was likely killed at the scrapyard, but yet the video audio sounds like an empty warehouse, the pitch is dull, if you talk outside, the pitch is clear

Denise should have told Kim as soon as Phil told her, when Kim finds out Denise knew n said nothing, that could be the end of their relationship.

same thing happened with Luke Browning Aiden chose to kill him when Phil asked him to scare him off Aiden was a proper ruthless gangster unlike phil he didn't take chances.
I don't care for anyone who gives up on Vincent without seeing him dead via the actor reprising his role. In my experience, characters seemingly killed off like this always come back sooner or later. When characters actually die, an actor usually does cameo return. Even if they are in another series. Like I always say, show me a lifeless body via the actor who played the character. Brought back nastiness free. Laughs in all the fictional characters brought back years after being seemingly killed off-screen.
Something tells me this is too predictable, that could have been someone else, a look-alike, unless I see Vincent himself, being captured, I'm not falling for it, I thought it was for sure, but I think that would be overkill, Phil is a very tricky character, I'm sure he's fiddled something, to make Denise believe Vincent is killed, to stop Kim searching, he's a sinister evil man.

What would be the point in getting a look alike, have him pretend to be kidnapped and shot, then have it filmed on a phone kept under the floorboards of the garage so that 3.5 years later Phil could dig up said phone to play a sick prank on Denise!? "Haha, I made Denise think her brother-in-law is dead for no reason, my evil plan worked!" That makes absolutely no sense at all! Also, we literally saw Vincent get kidnapped and held at gunpoint in his last episode! The reason you didn't "see" Vincent get shot is because Richard Blackwood is in Hollyoaks and so obviously isn't gonna leave that role so he do a 5 second death sequence in EastEnders! I understand the whole "We've been this a character is dead so there's absolutely now way this character dead" cliche but the suspension of disbelief to think Vincent is still alive after this episode is absurd!

He plays mind games, I believe there's a twist in the tail, it's to easy to believe Vincent is dead, after 3.5 years, remember, Dot thought Cotton was dead, but he wasn't. It makes no sense, Phil has absolutely nothing to gain from making Denise think Vincent is dead when he isn't! Was Phil just bored, was this a Halloween prank, you can't explain to me why Phil faking Vincent's death would make any bit of sense storywise.
@@stevedavidson5038 Well it could be, because he just doesn't want Vincent to get back with Kim, because she knows Phil was responsible, and got him kidnapped, and so both will press charges, if they're back! Why would you suddenly kill a character off, after 3 years? Sorry, it just sounds too obvious, and EE is full of twists and tails, Vincent is probably hiding somewhere, and escaped, if he's really dead, well Aiden and Phil need to go to prison, and rot, enough's enough!

It’s sad that he’s dead but I’m happy we’ve finally got some closure. I get that the whole Keanu death video was fake but first of all doubt they would do that twice and second of all know that Aidens lot didn’t mess around, just look at what happened to Luke…
