  • MTB ridealong at the Bracken Mountain Preserve Bike Trails in Brevard N.C. Bracken Mountain Preserve is City of Brevard park that backs up to the National Forrest. On this ride, we tackle the Bracken Mountain Trail and climb it to the top of a ridge where we take the Pinnacle Trail (black diamond) downhill to the Brushy Creekk Trail and follow it until it joins back up with the Bracken Mountain Trail. This ride starts with a lot of climbing, but the downhill sections are great and the scenery is fantastic. Bring your legs!

I helped maintaining this trail system. This a hidden gem. I miss working on the trails and riding them also. Thanks for the memories!!

Such a great trail system. I really enjoyed the ride there. Thanks for being a volunteer and helping keep the trails in tip top shape.

Thanks! I appreciate the comment. I use MTB projects to find trails and I also use Gaia gps app. Gaia is the one I usually use while I ride. It's more reliable when there is no cell service. As far as elbow pads, I wear POC pads. Here is a link to the ones I have. There is a newer version out as well.
