Wow Great ..Thank You
thankyou for your service sir
My friend Terry had a 1963 International BC-160 Dump truck. the battery died & it sat for a bit on there old sold property. I had a blast riding in that Old dump truck!
Just a helpful hint here, when you have batteries wired in 12 volt like that, hook up the positive jumper cable to the first battery and the ground jumper cable to the last battery that way you are charging all 3 batteries equally instead of hooking to the outside battery only. Also mechanical pump Cummins fuel pumps like that one have a screw on the back of that pump solenoid that will bypass a bad fuel pump solenoid. Just screw it in all the way and you will have your fuel pump ready to run then just back it out to shut off the fuel to the pump and kill the engine.
There is something satisfying to me listening to a idling diesel. Am I alone?
Great job guys.
Right on
Jamais un moteur électrique ne pourra nous donner cette satisfaction
Nice video.
Looks like the modern batteries sure can take beating on the poles a lot more than the old ones did 🤔...😁 Good work, keep on rocking 🙂
Can't believe you too are from Florida, you sound country af!! I just want to hang out with Wiley and absorb his knowledge. Going now to buy a "This Things Making Oil" T-shirt, for Wiley!
👍
Enjoyed this video Hank. The Dynamic Duo fired up another one!!! Maybe one day I will figure out what y'all do hooking up the batteries. Lol.
Lol. Maybe . Have a good one buddy
29:51 🤣😂 it sounds like what he mentioned about the Mack super liner the buzzer that tells you that the ignition is on here's an example when the horn is fouled and it's stuck
Yer very lucky that yer weather is so dry rust is not a huge problem
Good Job Hank & Wiley . Yep one little air hose will stop everything. Looks like a little TLC needed . But looks good enough to haul with again at least maybe a pit truck if nothing else.
Mack
That’s right!
Love the older trucks. especially ones with Dayton Wheels! It reminds me of trucks from the greatest era of American Trucking. It’s crazy how the trees grow through it, it’s in a lot better condition than I thought it would be! Great video!
They are nice rims but a lot of tire shops won’t work on them because they can be dangerous to take off
Good looking dump truck
Looool haha there's always Irish Spring soap yuppers Wiley wielding with batteries 😂🤣😂🤣👍👍
Thanks for another great video.
It was interesting and enjoyable.
Hank and Wiley my hat is off to you both. You both did a lot of work on this one.
Wow.
Seems to run fairly good. Could be a number of things why not moving like air pressure or clutch or things along that line.
I commend you for the effort you both put into this one.
I never did hear if you had a buyer for it or somebody just interested or what ever.
You both take care and be safe.
Looking forward to the next video.
Thanks for everything.
My compliments to Hank and Wiley for their caring about these old pieces of equipment.
You guys are tops.
Thanks
Retired Air Force veteran.
Steve.
Thanks buddy. It’s for sale👍
Great video guys.
Thanks!
You two are an absolute hoot, even during a hot day with baked ovaries. I thought you were prior military Hank by some of the words and terminology you used. Thank you so much for your service to this nation. God bless you and Wiley!
Thanks!
It's a shame it won't drive, it runs really good!! 👍 Ya'll always do a good job getting these running, thanks for taking us along! 😎
Thanks for watching David!
Thank you for your service Hank!
Thanks!
You boys really deserve a battery sponsor. But a vice grip one will be handy too! Good job fellas
Wow you all trimmed that bush and it now looks like a red dump truck. Good job
Hey guys, next time try a sawzall with a 12" landscape blade. That is a more practical method to remove smaller trees. The big advantage is that you can also use a sawzall to cut roots underground, unlike chainsaws. Love your channel.
Thank you for your service Hank! ❤👍🏾🇺🇸
Very welcome
He was Air Force, kinda like a grown up Boy Scouts 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
THANKS FOR YOUR SERVICE HANK.
Thank you.
With y'all's mechanicing skills and wiring skills I don't know why y'all don't open up a mechanic shop 🤔 lol God bless y'all love the Channel keep it up
😂😂 we’d be broke!
I bet you would be so busy you wouldn't keep up but who wants to work under someone's thumb best the way your doing it and enjoying it
Overhead kills a business

É como tirar um paciente em Coma.Parabéns Doutores!🇧🇷👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Love watching u and wiley doing will it starts
ребята вам удачи и здоровья ..хорошее дело делаете оживляете грузовики
If an old air compressor is not building pressure open the line poor a cup of hydraulic or power steering fluid down the hose and lube it all up sometimes it helps.
Great video Hank, that old truck fired right up!
S series trucks were some of the best Harvester ever built.
God Bless you too my friend
I'm here from Jamaica watching hopefully I get a chance to start and drive a demi like this
Could help but to hear Thump Thump Thump, BOOM as you brush Hogged a tire 🤣😆🤣
hey look close just behind the fan but lower towards the bottom where you were looking when he tried to start it theres a small wasps nest but no wasps on it but look close you'll see it

I am a retired firefighter and I have driven fire trucks with so many of the engines you have done videos on. When I was assigned to Station 7 our Engine 7 had an L10 Cummins. We called her the Lead Sled. Not too quick.
I like that Wiley is always trying to honk the horns 😂 he's like me forever deep down a kid at heart
“Hey Man...that’s Old Spice”. 😂😂😂😂

Oh hell back with another one love watching 👍🤟🤟
That was fun and a good example of what the planet would look like after people the way it was grown up in trees lol
Lol
Just another one of my wisecracks, You guys so well with the ancient beat up stuff, if you came up on something new, it might not run for you. Lol In my case, I've spent so much time in the kitchen, I wouldn't know how to start the little red tractor. Cooking and wisecracks, that's all I'm good for. As always, all the best to everyone. Chef Scott 8

The man, the myth, the legend.......Mr Wiley
Nice one lads great video allways 👍
God Bless you guys
Thanks!
Brilliant ! 3 old and two well used batteries and vice grips get the job done. Keep those video's coming. Those old batteries recovered pretty well for that extra start.
I thought so too👍
Best videos on will it start
Thank you
Congrats guy's on getting the Dump Truck running. next time moving.
I love seeing old dump trucks back hauling asphalt on a regular basis
👍👍
Plus when you hook charged batteries to dead batteries it kills the charged batteries
cool maybe put together a easy air repair kit?
Thank you gentlemen…
If you ever want a heavy duty set of jumper cables go to a scrapyard that uses magnets and ask them to save you the electric cable going to the mag the next time they change it all you will have to do is put heavy duty ends on it
man those old internationals have the best air compressors. i somehow caught mine on fire the other day, wire shorted out to the cigarette lighter and started a electrical fire i was able to put it out in time before it did and serious damage but it melted the airline to the parking brake and was pissing out air but the thing still held at 110 psi i was able to dump my load and park it back in the shop and it didnt loose any air. even builds air pressure no problem with the hole in the line
old Cummins never die!
As always.. Great video.
Thank you much
Hi from uk guys👋👍 good little runner this one turned out to be 👌 I must admit I was amazed engine bay was only dust as seeing all the trees etc growing thru truck I was like 🙈 but yeah purrs like a kitten👍 and I got told of a guy (cos I know nothing about trucks) but he said unlike car etc that rely on hydraulic force to stop (which I know about cars) trucks etc need air pressure to release first so I guess that with the air leaking in cab it off the release for brakes and with out it seeing pressure it cant actuate the chambers I maybe wrong but I know you already know this ( I just like to think I understand what am informed in 👌) makes sense tho thanks for your time and be safe see you soon guys👍👋
Thanks for watching buddy!
Ol sparky didn't have his touch today, this is better than watching bugs bunny back in the day lol
Lol. Bugs was pretty good though 😂
So I chuckled when you said all you need is vice grips and a crescent wrench, but to give you the English names for those tools they would be Mole Grips and an adjustable spanner and there versatility makes them the swiss army knife of tools..
👍
You should get some golf tees as they are good for plugging air lines.
Y all are the best
Good job welldone
If,I where there, my magic wand she
Will start, right up !!
gran trabajo, saludos desde venezuela
bravo cool
on a cummins old style pump ypu can turn in the screw on front of where the solenoid is it does not have to have 12 volts it the manuel over ride to the pump save from putting a hot wire to it
Should have named the video "How many vice grips does it take to start a dump truck " 😆 🤣
😂
Awesome vid
thank you!
That thing's making oil, AND trees! That's one of the best things about Diesel vehicles, the fuel lasts for years instead of the months that today's gasoline lasts for. Too bad it's the most expensive fuel though. God bless you too Hank, and Wiley too! :-)
I hear ya
Iv no idea if it’s true or not but I was recently reading that those little electric chainsaws cause more injuries than the big petrol ones and the reason they gave was that people don’t show them the same respect as they do petrol saws as they almost seem like toys despite the fact that they will do just as much damage.
Watch your hands please.
Great video as always.
👍
Enjoyed the video Hank
Thanks!
"Old Spice"
The mark of an old man...
🇬🇧😆
Crescent wrench is a mouth full. Here is Aust well call them shifting spanners or "Shifter" (shifta) for short. 😂😂
When jump starting from another vehicle I was always told to run the donor vehicle at a fast tick-over to boost the voltage going to the receiving vehicle.
Hank said: you where close, but you ant gonna get no prize. 🤣
Hank says: Wallie we should try 12 batteries🤣
Next they will get a asphalt spreader back running
At least we know it runs and it's making oil that's a good will it start video I think awesome boys appreciate the videos 👍
It’s got good compression 💪👍
You know if you hold a dip stick strait up in the air long enough you will never be low on oil . think about it . Man its making oil ! love that . Wally's really leaking today .
Lol
Vocês dois são fera
Cummins L10 used " over here in England " in many 1990's buses and coaches - really rated .
Those batteries at 9:20 them is making power!
Hello Hank Wiley 👊🏾😊
Handy little chainsaw
