1977 Zulu Wedding King Goodwill Zwelithini, Mantfombi Dlamini, Features Chief Mangosuthu Buthelezi

A privately shot home movie on Super 8 stock of the marriage of King Goodwill Zwelithini to Mantfombi Dlamini in 1977.
This unique and historical movie was taken by the acting British Consul who was an official guest at the wedding. It features some athletic footage of Chief Mangosuthu Buthelezi
The footage is in very good condition with no color fade.
The film has sound for the full length with overplayed music*, narration, and sound from the event.
*Because some of the movie has been overplayed with contemporary music I have had to silence the parts of the film with background music because I don’t want a CZcams copyright strike. Where the CZcams movie goes silent, it is because I had to mute it because of the background music.
I have not recorded the whole thing, and have not taken a copy. There is no copyright with it, but I bought it from the late photographer’s family who had no desire to keep it.
It is approximately 90 metres long, being about 20 minutes. eBay only allow me to upload 12 shots per sale, and it was difficult to choose which ones to upload. The quality of this movie is fairly consistent throughout and it is clear that the British Consul was an enthusiastic but competent amateur cameraman, so he was not only close to the action, but he also manage to get some magnificent footage not only of the couple, but also of the whole occasion.
I notice one vertical cut about a minute or two into the movie. The buyer may prefer to splice this out by removing about 8 frames and then splicing it back together, but it appears to project correctly as it is.
