Very good deal on the del sol. I bought a '94 with $200k for the same price 5 years ago. Excellent deal as they've appreciated in value. I hope your friend keeps it forever. You know it's a low maintenance vehicle and very fun to drive, especially with the top off. Thanks for sharing the content 😊

I've owned at least 25 del sols....i currently have the exact same car - year, color, drivetrain as the one you've reviewed (but my odometer is closer to 200k). It still runs and drives like a dream. Without a doubt, $2,800 is a steal with that low mileage. Keep in mind, the biggest concern we del Sol owners have is theft and accidents. Tell the new owner to drive carefully and always keep an eye on where it's parked.

I appreciate that. Yeah, definitely anything with a removable top makes it so much more vulnerable to theft, unfortunately.
Awesome car $2800 is a great deal. My delsol had the same issues with the door handles aswell, and leaking roof seals. I thought si model had the rear wing maybe just Canadian models. Always got teased that it was a girls car but didnt care lol.
I think some came with wings here as well. Might have been an option. Like the EM1

@@KanjoBrothers I've always wanted one. I've owned an 89 Accord coupe, a DA Integra(my absolute favorite Honda ever) and a 95 DC2 GsR..
Now in my eyes the Del Sol is kinda ugly....which I think is why it wasn't too popular...but man is it cool..Targa Top with a cool place to store it in the trunk..back window goes down... cubbies in the back...and we know a B-series can bolt right in....
As for the looks, a Japanese DC2 front end is sexy and would obviously help the look...what are your thoughts on the looks??
@jahbrake9791 oh yeah, Del Sol is definitely ugly. It's like a mini UTE or something. But can definitely be appreciated for what it is and all the cool / quirky features. I definitely wouldn't mind owning one someday if came across a deal and had the money

All my gauges went out and turning signals any idea what could cause that problem?

How many keys use the car, I have only 1 and it's only working for open the driver door and turn on the car
@juancotto6773 someone might have swapped the ignition cylinder and 1 of the doors to match. Typically only one key for the whole car
