    Excellent stuff. Randy Rhoads or Saint Rhoads guitar work on those albums is so good.
    I mean, who doesn’t like RR!

    You my man have a sense to play similar to randy. Not alot of the guitarist can play like him even in the remakes and lessons his hammer ons/ pull offs are more intricate then halens and everyone plays like Eddie when Randy did not play like Eddie

    Great stuff, thank you for posting this. What model strat and amp are you using? You really nailed Randy's sound.

    • @AngelMartinez-qs3cf
      @AngelMartinez-qs3cf Před 5 lety

      @DereMemo I have several. Since he is using a single coil guitar, I wanted what Strat, what pick-ups it has, sounds really good!

      @@AngelMartinez-qs3cf he has a humbucker in the bridge, he isn't using the single coils.

      The guitar is a Jackson Adrian Smith Signature. www.jacksonguitars.com/gear/shape/san-dimas/usa-signature-adrian-smith-san-dimas-dk/2803051876 and in the article on this lesson (link in description) Nick says the amp is a 100W BOSS Katana Artist 1×12″ combo.
      Personally, I would have used one of the Rhoads models sitting behind him for this video. :-)

    • @nickbowcott8822
      @nickbowcott8822 Před 5 lety

      Hey Angel - thanks for the compliment...I wasn't really aiming to achieve Randy's tone as the only guy who could do that was him! To get the tone on the video I used an Adrian Smith Signature Jackson guitar straight into a Boss Katana Artist 100W combo, using the "Brown" amp mode with a little of the amps built-in: OD pedal, Reverb, Delay & Noise Gate thrown in too. Also - as revealed in the text that accompanies the TAB (see link), to get closer
      to the essence of Randy, there are two recorded versions of the solo low in the mix on the backing...why? Because as producer Max Norman (see text with TAB for more specifics) revealed, Randy would often not only double track his solos but triple track them. Hope this info helps
