The RunX RSi was a big deal in South Africa, it wore the iconic RSI badge.
The standard RunX RSi is a very quick car. The road tests suggested it was ordinary compared to its competitors, but the street - it was a true giant slayer. Once it was in ‘lift’, very few cars could keep up, and let’s not forget how strong it was on top end! Those that mastered the launch in the RSi were gods among men, and it took incredible skill to get it perfect.
These cars are still extremely sought after by Toyota fans.

much respect fellas! I have a corolla 2zz and gearbox in my MR-S. Respect for Corolla folks showing the true potential and charm of this engine. Sadly the kswap grandomania twisted some heads a little bit.
Agreed, the following of this engine is big, and yes Kswap is todays flavour, but you never know....it could make a come back!
Honda are thick judging by the amount of rwd k swaps should tell the chimp's at Honda to make more rwd cars.

@@HavocTVSA mine is from the UK i imported it to The Netherlands cause i like to drive RHD,but its alsow available in most part of Europe LHD.i alsow had a RunX RSI but the T-sport i think looks better with the bigger rear spoiler.
Awesome, i dont think we got the T-sport in South Africa. I checked the rear spoiler on Google...it does have a really good look. I think the Guys in south Africa would love that.

Dynos show the wheel hp. Toyota claims official flywheel horsepower so making the stock figure at the wheels is very good.
