Annie Walker argues with Bet Lynch and sacks her (19 November 1975)

Annie Walker wonders why Sean Regan, the husband of her close friend (and first Corrie barmaid) Concepta, has left the Rovers. Bet eventually tells her that Sean made a pass at her. Annie won't accept that Sean would behave in such a manner and implies that Bet is a tart calling her a liar. She then tells Bet she is sacked from the Rovers.
Fab scene featuring Julie Goodyear and Doris Speed. This must've been one of the few times Annie and Bet locked horns with each other as most times they were friendly with each other.
