I've had 2 medsynch ll intrathecal pumps since 2009, I had a new replacement on 16/10/2024 8 hours later I had the following symptoms, sweats, vomiting, diarrhoea, slurred speech, became unresponsive leading to seizures, I was hospitalised and 5 or 6 days later discharged, 30/10/2024 same symptoms only this time I ended up in a coma, so any 1 who is thinking about having 1 of these pumps fitted, think twice. I'm still waiting for the pump to be removed, it's currently located in my lower left side of stomach, with a catheter located toward T6 spinal cord.
